Protagonist Yang Min

A few days have passed since the discovery of the bloodline of Lin Xia and now she just left for The Crimson Phoenix Sect and Yes she was accepted as the direct disciple under the sect leader due to her bloodline without any problems but still to manage everything well for her Li Tian had once visited the sect to meet with all the high ranking people in the sect including the sect master.

He discussed the terms and conditions with them for the admission of Lin Xia in the sect. The sect was passive regarding this matter as first Lin Xia was wife of Li Tian and second Li Tian's identity was a bit special in the current world.

The main conditions were some basic requirements like letting him allow every week to visit her once so he set up a direct teleportation circle in her room so that he can easily enter. Her security was tightened to the utmost and he also warned the sect leader that if they tried anything with her or tried to force her even for a single thing then this wont be tolerated and they will be forced to take her back by force regardless of wish of the sect.

Thirdly they were told about the oath she took the other day all the elders were quite baffled and surprised upon hearing that but soon everybody knew that this was the only reason that Li family agreed to give her to their sect for training otherwise they would have nurtured such person with their resources only even if it meant limiting the power they could harness.

But to be honest all these conditions were easily accepted by the Crimson Phoenix Sect as none of these were too much and they already expected something like this even before he came here and also none of them harbored any ill intent towards Lin Xia or would try to force that girl because everybody knew about the background behind her which was supporting her.

So, Li Tian was relieved with these arrangements and regarding the problem of some other man approaching her that was even less of a problem as now almost everybody knew that she was his wife so no one would be willing to challenge him like this.

Regarding the protagonist approaching her he was not worried as now she only had him in his heart and also the oath. But still to minimize any chance of them encountering a fateful meet like a prince saving the beauty in a dire situation he even had preparations done for this as he had placed several overlord assassins near all the exits point of the sect and ordered them to always follow behind Xia in case she ever leaves the sect for experience.

Now regarding Xia's affair he was no longer worried and wont have to be worried about her as an enemy so now he just had to expand his influence and bring more people under him.

He had already decided to join a sect and become a high ranking member in it even trying to become the holy son as this will give him more rights and will also uplift his status more. Currently even though he was called a genius of a lifetime he still didnt had that many opportunity like secret realm and sect tournaments and inheritance.

Thus, he wanted to join the best sect for his growth which is Heavenly Immortal Sect and another reason for this was because in his past life The protagonist was the holy son of Heavenly Immortal Sect which allowed him many fateful encounters with powerful allies and gaining their respect. He even managed to obtain many treasures and long lost techniques from a secret realm which was situated inside the main forest of Heavenly Immortal Sect.

But now since he was the villain and he doesnt want to die early thus he wont allow the protagonist to grow accordingly and will steal all his opportunities and allies to turn them against each other.

Only one month was remaining for the sect entrance test and the minimum requirements for this was one must be below 30 years of age and should be at least 1st level Foundation Realm to be qualified for passing the first round and in the second round there will be duels conducted between the applicants to test their combat prowess.

Normally these requirements were a bit high but it was reasonable as this was the strongest sect so only highly talented or genius are allowed to enter.

Even right now Li Tian was more than qualified to enter the sect as he was only 19 years old and has already reached 2nd stage nascent soul realm which was more than enough to directly become a core disciple of the sect. Even in the core disciples he would be undoubtedly in the top three in terms of strength.

But he still came back and placed some qi stones near his cultivation spot as he wanted to start cultivating now for a month in order to break through to 3rd stage of nascent soul realm as he couldnt afford to sit idle as he was the enemy who will eventually fall in the hands of protagonist in the end so he cant slack off as he wont have the protagonist luck.

He had already notified his family about him going in closed door cultivation for one month. He didnt require food or sleep like regular mortals as cultivator after foundation realm dont require food and sleep and can easily function even without these necessity as this proves that they have started moving towards the way of heaven more by leaving behind the mortal needs of the body.

Meanwhile, near a mortal town there was a forest filled with some food items and herbs but the problem with them was that there were many beasts in the forest so normally very few villagers would come here.

But right now a mortal was being chased by a beast who looked like a rhino but double than normal size. Right now it was chasing Yang Min our protagonist but the beast was more like having fun with his target rather than hunting but soon Yang Min stopped as he had reached a cliff and if he were to fall it was sure that he would die but even if he were to stay here he would still die.

Suddenly he froze as he noticed something behind him The beast was looking at him like he was enjoying this but soon Yang Min made a decision that even if he were to die he would rather die honorably than being than being toyed with so without a care he jumped in the cliff.

The height of the cliff was almost more than 150metres so while falling he was feeling sad as he was an orphan whose father died before his birth due to some beast while he was travelling to this same forest and his mother died during his birth. He had no one in this world who he could call family and recently he also sometimes felt strange pain near his heart as if something from being taken away or pulled out from him.

Still he had some complains in his heart "why did he had to face this? why wasnt he born in an immortal family who can cultivate? why wasnt he talented?" He couldnt answer these and soon he fell to the ground and his consciousness started to fade and he concluded that he was dying although not happy with this but just wished for one thing "God if you are really there please let me born in an immortal family who can help me cultivate".
