"It looks like she knows what we did—cheating," Kether's words stopped everyone in their tracks, and all eyes turned to him. His statement mixed their feelings once again—fear and anxiety. 


Kether couldn't stop his hands from trembling as the image of the warning gaze he had received earlier replayed in his mind. Because of his shaking, he didn’t even realize that the pencil he was holding had snapped. 


"Maybe we should stop with this cheating—or whatever you want to call it," Rhenz said softly, and everyone heard him. Even Rhenz, who was usually tough and always making jokes, now spoke in a serious tone, his face matching his words. They all immediately agreed, seeing the sincerity in Rhenz’s expression. He had a point. 


Juljen was walking to the conference room with Teacher James. She didn’t know why they were having an emergency meeting. She walked ahead of Teacher James, and that’s when she felt the young man’s gaze on her.
