Two hundred and thirty-nine, rescued

"Bang! Bang!" Two abrupt gunshots rang out.

The two men beside Luo Zheng fell to the ground without warning.

Luo Zheng stared blankly at the two people on the ground who had already breathed their last, unable to react for a moment. What just happened?

Fu Yi and Qian Wei emerged from behind the trees and, seeing the gunshot wound on Luo Zheng's leg, frowned simultaneously.

"Fu Yi! Qian Wei!" Luo Zheng looked at the two with surprise and joy. Seeing them, he knew he was safe.

"Sit down, I'll stop the bleeding for you first," Fu Yi said in a calm voice. He used to be a Guard Member and had learned some emergency methods to stop bleeding.

"Okay!" Luo Zheng nodded happily. Now that the danger was gone, he felt relaxed all over and began to feel the searing, heart-wrenching pain.
