Over the past two decades, the Hong Gang, the Bamboo Leaf Society, and the Sanlian Society could be said to have stood in a three-legged stance.
In terms of strength, the Hong Gang was undoubtedly the top dog, followed by the Bamboo Leaf Society with its abundant soldiers and generals, while the Sanlian Society was the weakest, with many underground forces wanting to challenge and replace them at one time.
However, even a lean camel is bigger than a horse; although the Sanlian Society had declined somewhat, it had no problem dealing with those slightly weaker underground forces.
Over the years, the Hong Gang did not get involved in the disputes over the Martial World and territories, basically letting the Bamboo Leaf Society and Sanlian Society fighters duke it out among themselves, with both sides suffering losses. Overall, however, the Bamboo Leaf Society maintained a significant advantage.
