Chapter 163: Evil God's Plunder

In the forest, Hunter hesitated for a long time before finally deciding to make a move on Anna.

He had confirmed over and over again that there were no ambushes around, and he planned to leave immediately after retrieving the Cursed Item.

Just as he stepped out of the darkness, he was attacked by the female Deformed Person, which infuriated him. He couldn't manage to chase down a weak woman, and now she seemed ready to go in for the kill.

He knew there was no reasoning with these mentally disturbed Deformed People, so he efficiently dealt with her.

While he was occupied, Anna had already run far away, but Hunter was not at all flustered. He suddenly picked up speed and took out the pistol at his waist.

The sound of the gun rang out, but it didn't hit Anna; the bullet grazed over her head.

Hunter grew more frustrated—she had stumbled over a haystack and inadvertently avoided the bullet fired at her.
