The subject of public opinion is the participating social groups, that is, part of the public, mind you, not all of the public.

This collective public consciousness is not naturally occurring, it requires deliberate guidance, and this function is often undertaken by various social organizations.

The object of public opinion can be simply understood as the focus of public attention, such as social phenomena, issues, and so on.

From macro to micro, the object of public opinion can be extremely complex, and limited by the consciousness of the subject group, but this link is actually the easiest to manipulate.
