Zhu Wencong, carrying large and small bags with Su Yanqiao, arrived at the doorstep of a house, guided by Liu Baofeng; to their surprise, the front door was wide open.
This was a standard siheyuan; the main house was at the north, with wing rooms to the east and west, and the entrance room, known as the south house (opposite seat).
In the middle of the courtyard, an old woman and a young girl looked at Zhu Wencong with astonishment, thinking that the people behind him must be significant; he could be an important figure.
"Are you looking for Old Master Hu, young master?" the old woman asked.
"May I ask where he has gone?" Zhu Wencong looked left and right but did not see Hu Zhongshun.
"Grandpa Hu is at the Charity Hospital getting treated; he should be back soon!" the little girl immediately replied.
Zhu Wencong sat on a stone bench in the courtyard, having heard that Hu Zhongshun was not in good health, which was why he had specifically come to visit.
