(Side Story)
Tsarist Russia, the City of a Thousand Domes.
A boy was pushed out through an iron gate by a fat man in uniform, welcomed by biting cold winds and feathers of snow.
Young Sergei looked up at the bleak sky, finally regaining his freedom, no longer confined to that cramped space.
Soon, the piercing cold snapped Sergei back to reality, the thin clothes he wore, rapidly losing his body heat.
"Sergei! You finally got out! The boss didn't give up on you, pulling strings all over to set you free.
To reward your brave actions, he's personally arranged for you and me to carry out a secret mission," said a fat man, handing over a woolen sweater.
Sergei quickly put on the sweater and followed the fat man into a nearby tavern.
As a member of 'the family', naturally, serving the boss was expected – alive as his man, dead as his ghost. Bearing a crime was nothing to fuss about.
