The Miller family members arrived quickly, and three carriages roared up, taking all the bodies of the gunmen and the three captives away.
Having picked up his breakfast pizza again, Eta continued his walk with a puzzled look on his face, "It's really baffling, who would want to harm me?"
"Does your family have any opponents?"
"Yes, but they wouldn't dare attack me in Florence, because that would mean a full-scale war with the Miller family, and they're not yet bold enough to reveal themselves." Having said that, Eta looked at Durin, "I really owe you a big thanks for today. Without you and your allies, I couldn't have dealt with so many people on my own."
"It's nothing. Even though I prefer not to get involved in disputes, if trouble comes knocking at my door, I have no choice, right?"
With that, Durin indicated that the way at the intersection ahead was clear.
