Half-step Purgatory

Durin stroked the black cat on the armrest of his chair, sitting on the black leather sofa. Through the glasses perched on his nose, his gaze passed over the long table in front of him and settled on the man kneeling on the carpet:

Pool returned later that evening and informed Durin that the machine gun still had too much recoil for a traditional Grassland Elf like himself.


Durin thought to himself that he had not installed any recoil control mechanisms on the gun, even the stock was a block of metal, and this version of the "cloth ripper" used 10mm standard ammunition, stressing the importance of not overburdening logistics.


That definitely meant the user had to bear more of the recoil.


Durin indicated that the Grassland Elves would use a smaller caliber, 8mm version, and that new modified models would be available in the future.


Pool thought it over and decided it wasn't a big problem.
