Half-step Purgatory

"You don't need a friend like me, I know that. You're afraid of owing me a favor, and you don't want to get involved in troubles."

Ulyula watched the young man on the shooting range, thinking that this youngster named Joseph had truly been training with a vengeance lately.


"You say, when can he achieve his revenge?" The old lady of the House of Idar asked out of curiosity, eyeing the young man and addressing Ulyula.


The latter shook her head, "I'm not sure, I've never seen a child who strives to learn how to kill like him. His efforts make the endeavors of all those youngsters transformed by the Crimson Guild look pale by comparison. If it's just about killing that freckled boy, Joseph could take him one-on-one.
