Chapter 243: Dialogue

Higgins rose early in the morning.

Although his old friend Durin had arranged the best suite for him, he suddenly found that he was particular about his bed, having never left Copenhagen before.

Last night, Karina had slept well. In her words, as soon as she lay down on the bed, she felt comfortable.

But Higgins couldn't sleep at all.

He could only watch the Chang Tang merchant ships docking at the harbor by the first light of dawn.

Looking at these large ships, said to have come from the distant East, Higgins always held adventurers in awe, his father was an adventurer who spared no expense for his missions.

But compared to these sailors who had crossed twenty thousand miles, his father's adventures seemed rather laughable.

With this thought, Higgins prepared to go downstairs—he had heard that today's breakfast would include a tasting of Chang Tang breakfast specialties, and he needed to find something tasty for his Karina.
