After careful consideration, Ybur felt that the current situation wasn't too bad.
The Shapeshifter had one moderate weakness: as a melee profession, its Body Secret Source was only second-ranked, making its body not quite strong enough; and if it tried to mimic other creatures' supernatural powers to gain an advantage on the spiritual level, it would struggle due to insufficient Secret Source of Spirit, resulting in a lack of endurance. In short, in both aspects, it found itself in an awkward position, relying on the versatility of the Heart's Secret Source to balance things out. This is why Shapeshifters are considered a "mid-tier profession"—compared to other professions, they fall behind early on and can't keep up with the numbers in the later stages, experiencing only a brief period of dominance in between.
But becoming a Demon, walking on two legs, would undoubtedly make up for its shortcomings.
