Ybur's body contracted, its skin tensed with fear.
These elves were fiercely lethal, and each one was either teleporting or long-range attackers; they were practically the bane of demons. One or two could be dealt with, but swarmed by so many, wouldn't it be torn to pieces?!
However, although the elves were closing in, they didn't attack right away. What were they worried about? A thought flashed through Ybur's mind as it realized, I still have a hostage! It immediately puffed up slightly, projecting threatening spikes in all directions, and shouted, "Don't come any closer! Come any closer and I'll kill him!"
