As soon as Ybur spoke, both women looked at it in surprise.
"Are you sure?" Temir said. "Don't you want to think it over again?"
Ybur replied in astonishment, "Does it even need thinking? The solution is clearly laid out on the surface of the puzzle! Think about it, we're observing this painting from an audience's perspective, looking down on it, and we control our bodies in an indirect, puppet-like manner. What does that tell us? It tells us that our true consciousness and our bodies are not in this painting but outside of it!"
Temir was shocked, "It really seems like it..."
Ybur continued, "So, if we can figure out a way to get back to our bodies, we can escape this scroll."
Saraphido said in a faint voice, "But the converse is also true. If we can figure out a way to escape this scroll, we can get back to our bodies... so, doesn't that bring us back to square one? We still need to find a way to leave this place."
