Chapter 100: The World of the Sea Clan

The architecture of the Sea Clan had a peculiar style.

For terrestrial races, "up and down" was clearly distinct from "forward, backward, left, and right" because humans themselves lacked the ability to fly. Ascending was significantly more difficult than moving forward or backward, and even for those beings with the flight ability, flying and landing were distinctly different postures. Thus, "up and down" also carried connotations of hierarchy in language.

But it was different for the Sea Clan.

Up and down, just like forward, backward, left, and right, didn't have much difference to them.
