Lieutenant Ilyich looked at the deputy platoon commander skeptically, "I didn't receive any notice during the brigade meeting. Is he really coming?"


"The Red Flag has been raised!" the deputy platoon commander pointed to the distance. "Look, that Red Flag is as red as the rising sun!"


Lieutenant Ilyich looked again at the Red Flag and realized the deputy platoon commander was right; it was indeed as red as the sunrise.
