Alex looked at the pathetic state of the envelope and couldn't help but sigh.
She still remembered that it was this very envelope that had helped her save Du Wei, but she hadn't expected it to have become like this after just a few days of not seeing it.
The typing was barely legible.
To save her lover, she had even sacrificed most of her memories.
Inevitably.
She turned to Du Wei and said, "Your servant here is really loyal, you must find a way to retrieve its memories in the future."
A look of regret crossed Du Wei's face.
He pointed to the envelope and said, "Even I am helpless against the sacrifice of memories, the ones it lost can never be recovered, unless time is reversed."
As he spoke.
Du Wei then said to Alex, "Dear, even if your dream is real, please remember that I will always be by your side, and even if one day I lose myself, I won't hurt you."
