It was here... In the Victorian Era.
The text was not connected; patterns of pointers and eyes were mixed in between, seemingly erasing the words.
And, in almost an instant after Du Wei saw them, the words were replaced by symbols, and eventually, all the patterns disappeared.
Upon seeing this, a trace of iciness flashed in Du Wei's eyes.
"It's the Demon Gods."
These symbols all related to Solomon's Seventy-Two Pillars Demon Gods, and the Envelope had once made direct contact with that Stele for him.
In one way or another, the Envelope had also caught the attention of the Demon Gods.
It could have conveyed some useful information to him, but every time, those damned symbols destroyed it.
"I will definitely kill you."
Du Wei's tone was resolute, as his gaze once again converged on the Envelope, carrying a hint of trepidation.
"Envelope?"
He asked tentatively.
But the Envelope did not respond to him, remaining still on the coffee table, as if it were dead.
