The group followed Lu Zhixing and Qin Shang up to the city tower of Hulao Pass, where they looked far into the distance and took in all the surrounding scenery.
It was only then that they realized, to their surprise, how much the scene had been transformed.
The most astonished was clearly Zhang Bei, as he had previously filmed here and knew what it originally looked like.
He was keenly aware that in the original setting, there wasn't much inside Hulao Pass—it was a very ordinary fortress, with a large open space inside.
After all, this part of the film was limited to the area in front of Hulao Pass, and there wasn't much involvement inside, so there was no need to make the interior so detailed when setting it up.
After decades of exposure to wind, sun, and rain, Hulao Pass was already covered with the marks of age, making the interior appear even more desolate.
But now, while it can't be said to be exactly the same as before, it had completely changed!
