The moonlight from above stretched Bob's shadow long, one half of his face concealed in darkness, his expression grim with a tinge of excitement.
"How did you know it was me?"
A hint of confusion crossed his face.
Roger certainly wouldn't tell him that Anna had discovered his tracks, he didn't answer the question but instead scrutinized Bob closely.
"That idiot Nick must have been egged on by you."
"Exploiting our past conflicts, Nick naturally sought revenge against me, let me guess, a young man humiliated at a gathering."
"Once he sobered up, he would certainly choose to leave there at the first opportunity."
Roger looked around, "Night, the pitch-black forest, coupled with a heartbroken young man, in this kind of environment, it wouldn't be strange if he accidentally got lost or sought an early exit."
Roger stared at Bob, hidden in the shadows, "Nick wanted to take revenge on me, but you want my life!"
"Right?"
Roger asked, his voice icy.
"Hmph..."
