Moor clutched the shell in her hand, rapidly adjusting directions as if to lock onto a specific range. Not far behind her, Huda's expression turned exceedingly ugly.
"What is this place?"
Moor asked, pointing toward a vast swath of buildings behind the manor.
"This is our family's graveyard; all direct descendants of our clan are laid to rest here after they die. By direct descendants, I mean specifically those with the potential of Exorcists."
Huda's face darkened.
"I'm not sure how that thing of yours works, but there's a good chance it's malfunctioned because every Exorcist..."
"I get your point."
Moor coldly interrupted Huda.
"However small the probability, it might still conceal the truth. Rather than your reasoning, I'd prefer to look and try for myself!"
Moor's voice turned very firm.
This mission was her final trial before ascending to Transcendent status. Although it didn't impact the ascension process itself, everyone wished to handle this mission beautifully.
