The crow in the cage suddenly stopped cawing. At the same time, its swelling body began to rapidly shrink back to its normal size.
"He has found the soul of the deceased," Goway said with a face full of surprise.
But the smile on her face hadn't lasted for a second when, in the next moment, the crow that had returned to normal suddenly expanded again, instantly filling the entire cage without any friction or compression.
The overstretched crow exploded with a bang into a shower of flesh.
"What does this mean, a failure or a success?"
Henrik shielded himself from the flying flesh and asked.
"At the last moment, the crow found the deceased's soul, but for some unknown reason, it couldn't summon it back."
"It feels like his soul is trapped in a place..." Goway's eyes brightened as she spoke.
"This situation seems somewhat similar to Stephen's, only Stephen is still alive."
Roger's expression, however, was somewhat grave.
