Chapter 445: The End

As the sun disappeared, night fell, and with it, Gawain's radiance dimmed, his vitality fading rapidly.

"As a Radiant Knight, the sun is your strongest support and also your most fatal weakness."

"Your strength ebbs and flows with the rising and setting of the sun, Gawain. You are destined to only walk in the sunlight."

Emotions swirled in Lancelot's eyes, his pride made him disdain such tactics, yet deep within him was a craving.

Or rather, a foresight for certain situations that led him to make such preparations long ago.

Lancelot knew that a battle between him and Gawain was inevitable.

In fact, the moment he made his preparations, he had internally admitted that he was no match for Gawain at his peak.

And that was what he found hardest to accept.

"Heh."

Even as his vitality weakened, Gawain still maintained his composure, letting out a cold laugh.

"You're always like this, pretending to be noble, yet so insincere."
