Chapter 16: I Need Someone to Carry My Bags

Chu Yi exaggeratedly feigned deafness, earning himself an eye roll from Wen Ya.

"Forget it, I'll call someone else."

"How could that do? Others are not as honest with their hands and feet, let me do it."

As he spoke, Chu Yi hoisted Wen Ya onto his back and walked away.

Only, the placement of his hands was somewhat inappropriate.

Wen Ya gritted her teeth and said, "And you say others are not honest with their hands?"

Chu Yi chuckled, naturally replying, "I'm not someone else, I'm your dear junior brother, what's there to fear?"

Wen Ya couldn't help feeling a mix of annoyance and shyness, but when she opened her mouth, she strangely swallowed her words back.

"Where's your house?" asked Chu Yi.

"Just take me to the Han Corporation clinic."

"You're sleeping there?"

"What else? With the money I'd spend on rent, do you know how many days I could have fun instead?"

Chu Yi was amazed, "Wow, you're impressive. Since you have nowhere to live, just stay at my place."
