Chapter 5 Maul and Daryl

"Sean, besides this, I think there is something more important." Carl did not give Sean time to think and continued.

"What's the matter?" Sean looked at Carl in surprise.

"How many people are there in our camp?"

"About twenty or so. I didn't count them. What's the matter?"

"Don't you think we need a leader?"

"Carl! This is not something you should consider." Sean suddenly felt that the Carl in front of him was a little strange.

Carl did not give in at all. He knew that to complete his plan he must have Sean's help. He must get Sean's support and also change some of Sean's ideas.

"So what should I think about? That ridiculous elementary school math? The donuts in the supermarket? Or the playground on the weekend?"

  "This..." Sean was speechless.

"Sean, wake up. I don't want to live in a world full of monsters, but we have to face reality. I'm not a child anymore. I know what I should consider."

"Carl." The Karl in front of him seemed increasingly unfamiliar, but the expression in his fierce words was indeed exactly the same as the Karl who had argued over some minor issues in the past.

"You've grown up." Sean touched Carl's head, feeling some indescribable emotions in his heart.

"Sean." Carl grabbed Sean's hand and stared at him. "We need a leader, and you are the best choice. At the same time, we need to make plans for the future as soon as possible."

"I'll think about it, but give me a moment, okay? Carl."

"Okay, but I hope you won't think about it for too long. You can use some means if necessary.

Sean, you can discuss this with me. I am not a child anymore."

Sean squatted in front of Carl and pressed Carl's shoulder, "Carl, I know you are not a child anymore, but you can't act too unchildlike.

Carl, you know, sometimes being too smart means you have to bear more, and being too smart means you have to experience more."

Carl nodded and was about to say something when a scream came from behind the camp.

  "There are zombies!"

Sean reacted instantly, stood up, and held Carl's shoulders, but hesitated.

Karl understood what Sean meant, and quickly said, "Sean, go check it out, I'm fine, I won't run around, you have to be careful."

"No, I have to take you back to the camp first." Sean picked up Carl and prepared to walk towards the camp.

At this moment, the bushes behind him suddenly shook. Sean held Carl in his left hand, took out the pistol from his waist with his right hand, slowly backed away, and looked at the bushes vigilantly.

  "It's me, don't shoot."

The bushes parted, and it was Daryl who walked out, with his signature crossbow on his shoulder, a string of squirrels hanging from his body, and two pheasants tied around his waist.

After Daryl came out, More also came out from the bushes, with a permanent grin on his face and a roe deer on his shoulder.

"Tsk tsk tsk, Sheriff, what are you doing? Are you trying to steal our prey? Although my stupid brother will definitely share the prey with the group of encumbrances in the camp, Sheriff, are you going to take it all?"

Sean hesitated for a moment and put away the gun. "I'm sorry, I just heard someone shouting that there are zombies. But Moore, you should know that I have tolerated you for a long time. I advise you to restrain yourself, at least in front of me."

"Why, are you going to shoot me if I don't restrain myself? Come on Sheriff, shoot me."

Moore threw the roe deer on his shoulder to the ground, walked up to Sean, and raised his head as if he was going to hit me.

Carl saw that the veins on Sean's forehead were beginning to bulge, and he was obviously trying his best to endure it.

"Okay, More." Daryl couldn't bear to watch it anymore.

Moore glanced at Sean with disdain, but still stepped back and picked up the roe deer.

Carl patted Sean's hand, "Put me down.

Sean nodded, put Carl down, and said to Daryl, "Thank you for your hard work. Who was shouting just now? It sounded like a woman's voice."

Moore said with a smirk, "It was that blonde bitch who took a shit in the woods. It must have been so smelly that it attracted all the zombies."

"Where are the zombies?" Sean asked with a raised eyebrow.

"It was a little zombie. Of course I broke its neck, and its head landed in that blonde bitch's shit."

Moore's foul mouth and bad taste are really no different from those in the drama, and are even better, which makes Carl helpless.

Just at this moment Andrea came out from the bushes, pushed Moore away, and walked towards the camp.

Moore's foul mouth continued to exert force steadily, "Blondie, I didn't know your shit could attract zombies."

Andrea glared at Moore fiercely, but wisely chose not to argue with him and quickened her pace towards the camp.

"More, you really should be more restrained. After all, we have to live together." Daryl reminded.

Moore threw the roe deer to the ground again, came close to Daryl, looked up at him, and said, "Foolish brother, we are the ones who are giving them alms and protecting them. You should let them know our status."

Daryl didn't say anything. He picked up the roe deer on the ground, put it on his shoulder and walked towards the camp. Moore whistled and followed Daryl with an extremely arrogant pace, passing by Sean and Carl.

"Let's go, Carl, it's time for us to go back." Sean tried his best to appear calm in front of Carl.

Carl nodded, but his attention was immersed in the light screen in front of him.

  Darryl.

Carl really couldn't understand this data. Why were Moore and Sean's combat power the same? You know, Sean's marksmanship was five-star.

Daryl's data was somewhat different from Carl's expectations. He had an additional special attribute that was still five stars, but his combat power was only 90.

However, it is already exaggerated to exceed ninety. Now Carl has seen the three most powerful people in the camp.

However, Carl became worried. Among the three people, Daryl and Sean were okay, but what should he do about Moore?

Carl is confident that he can influence Sean and even change him, but with Maul's personality, he can't even control his own brother Daryl. What can he, a kid who has no relatives with him, do?

Sean and Carl returned to the camp and saw that Daryl had already given the prey to the women in the camp to deal with, while Daryl and More were smoking on the side.

"Carl, do you want to help?" Sean asked.

Carl glanced at the two Moore brothers and said, "No, I want to talk to Daryl and the others."

"No." Sean's face suddenly became serious. "I know people like them. They are exactly the same as the people I caught taking drugs."

"Sean, you said you knew I wasn't a kid anymore."

"It's the same, Carl. Even adults will be affected if they get too close to them." Sean looked at Carl seriously.

Karl was silent for a while before he said, "Sean, compared to this, I think you should win over some people who support you."

"Carl, what are you talking about?" Sean frowned.

Carl said, "Both of these brothers are not simple characters, and you also said that they are not good people, so what if they want to do something bad to the camp?

Sean, are you confident that you can handle both of them at once? You'll need help, and like I said, you'll need some support."

  Sean fell into deep thought.

Carl wasn't saying this casually. Remember, in the third season, during their conversation between Maul and Daryl, they talked about the plan to rob the camp.

However, because More did not return, the plan naturally failed. But now if we want to prevent More from going to Atlanta, we have to guard against this.

After a long time, Sean nodded and said, "Karl, who do you think I should win over?"

Carl already had a plan in mind, and said directly, "Glenn and Jim, these two people, Sean, you can spend more time with them."

"Why them? T-boy and Ed are stronger than them."

"Because they have no ties and are both alone, they don't have many concerns or considerations."

This is indeed a very important reason, but there is an even more important reason that Carl cannot say, Glenn is a protagonist whose longevity ranks among the top few.

And that Jim was the man who was digging holes crazily in the first season. Carl once thought that Jim would be an important foreshadowing, or had the ability to predict the future.

But later he was bitten by a zombie and died. This was a bit outrageous. If possible, Carl would certainly want him to survive.

If he really has the ability to predict the future, then his importance to the team is absolutely huge.

Sean nodded, "I see, Carl, are you really not going to help your mother?"

At this time, Lori, Carol, Andrea and others were processing prey in the open space in the middle of the camp, chatting and laughing.

Carl shook his head and said, "Sean, now that you know, you can start trying now. As for me, don't worry, I won't run around."

Sean thought for a moment and nodded, "See you later, Carl." Then he waved his hand and walked towards the RV.

Seeing Sean walking away and Lori not paying attention to him, Carl ran to Daryl and Moore without any hesitation.

"Hello, Daryl, Moore." Carl greeted politely.

Daryl, who was squatting on the ground smoking, frowned and said in a tone that frightened a child, "Go play somewhere else, little brat."

But Moore on the side waved to Karl and said with a smile, "Kid, don't listen to him, come here."

Carl was a little slow to react for a moment, wondering if what the two men said were contradictory, but he still walked in front of Moore as he was told.
