35. Meeting

Lynx slowly regains consciousness and notices that she is tucked away in bed in the middle of the medical room. She looks to her side where she sees Power Surge in a chair with his head on the bed fast asleep.

"You've been out for a couple nights and he's been there the entire time." Stacey says from the other side of Lynx.

Lynx looks over and sees Stacey examining the monitor and fiddling in her tablet.

"Stacey.. I.." Lynx struggles to speak because she feels groggy.

"I wouldn't blame myself if I were you. Although I do blame myself for letting the situation get out of hand so you can blame me if you want." Stacey

"How.. Bad?" Lynx

"The only major damages are the holes caused from you uppercutting Seraiah through 33 levels. Speaking of which, I banded her and personally put her in a holding cell. Our dads are here and Sigma is having a talk with Seraiah." Stacey

"You don't need to worry about anything Lynx. We had everything under control." Phoenix says upon entering the med room.

Lynx looks to see that Marcos has a few bandages on him.

"Who knew that when Helios merged with me I'd be somewhat durable to a beating right?" Phoenix

"... Helios?" Stacey

"Oh right. The Phoenix inside of me mentioned that it was one of the many names that it went by and I liked it so yeah." Phoenix

"Hmm. Helios is the Greek god of the sun who handed down that duty to Apollo. I guess it fits since he handed down his abilities to you." Stacey

"Right?" Phoenix

Stacey finishes her examinations of Lynx's condition and puts away the tablet.

"Well, all of your vitals are reading normal. You just need to get some rest and you'll be alright." Stacey says then walks towards Marcos.

She got face to face with him, leans to the side and kisses Marcos on his cheek. Lynx was a bit surprised and Marcos was star strucked.

"I better go formally introduce you." Stacey says grabbing his hand and leading Marcos to meet Leonis and her father Sky Colton who is Leonis's right hand man.

"Yup... I totally caused that." Lynx

Stacey and Marcos head into the elevator, arrive at sub level 1 and make their way to the control room of the Guardian Alliance base where not only Leonis and Sky are located but also The Shogun who is clad in samurai armor, Jackson code name Charger and Alicia code named Insight. Alicia turns her head to face Stacey and immediately Alicia's jaw drops.

"For someone who can't use her eyes you see an awful lot." Stacey

"And who's hand are you holding?" Sky asks with a piercing glare.

"This is Marcos who goes by the Phoenix now. The one who was merged with the actual fire bird who's been named Helios." Stacey

"Hmm.. Both accurate and catchy. Welcome aboard the gravy train hos." Charger says in his natural sarcastic way.

"The red spark plug over there is Jackson code named Charger." Stacey

"Pleasure." Jackson

"The big guy over here is Leonis." Stacey

"Welcome aboard." Leonis

"The green samurai over is the Shogun." Stacey

The Shogun simply nods in acknowledgment.

"The archer here is my little sister Alicia code named Insight." Stacey

"It. Is. Soooo nice to meet you! And its such a relief to see my introvert elder sister FINALLY branch out because let me tell you..." Insight

"Please don't." Stacey

"..... We'll talk later...." Insight whispers while giving a thumbs up.

"And the old man who keeps forgetting the NO SMOKING rule in here is my dear ol dad General Sky Colton!" Stacey says in an intimidating tone.

Sky pauses, takes his cigar and puts it in his cup of water.

"Yeah that's me.... We'll have conversations later but let's get back to the matter at hand. Alicia, if you would?" Sky

"Hm? Oh yeah the thing I... "Liberated"." Alicia

"Jeeze Ali what did you steal this time?" Stacey

"Hey! "Liberated". And I got it just for you too. But before I show, Sigma kinda has to be here since he's kinda the reason I was able to make it here... Speak of the devil." Alicia

Sigma would then enter the room.

"I miss anything?" Sigma

"Right on time as always ninja boy. All done scolding?" Stacey

"Not even close.. Moeru is with her at the moment keeping her company so let's get on with this shall we?" Sigma

"Right then. Since everyone's accountable..." Insight says then pulls up a screen for everyone to see.

"I got an anonymous tip about three safe houses with important and well guarded items. The first two were already moved to different locations, but I just so happened to hit the jackpot with lucky number three." Insight says raising her hand at the large meteorite looking item on the hollow screen.

"Is that metal?! What kind?!" Stacey asks as she goes over the data for the large item.

"Well since I can't see to read I'll leave that part to you. One thing is for sure though... Specter's suit gives of the same sound as this so it is way important." Insight

"...!! Whoa! There's multiple traces of metals in this thing. Tungsten witch holds the highest boiling point to break down, Sorbothane witch absorbs vibrations, Titanium and its even laced with Carbon?! Its even giving off a small mystical aura!!" Stacey

"I can tell by your hype that you absolutely love it. You're very welcome." Insight

Stacey reaches over, grabs Insight's head and kisses her on the cheek.

"You rock sis!" Stacey says then continues to examine the data.

"Pff.. Duh!.... Oh and before I completely forget. The crate had antigravity plates under it for mobility but I gave em to Sigma as a starting thank you because I reeeeeaaaallly am glad he came in the nick of time!" Insight

"Same here." Sky

"No doubt about that! Nice save as always ninja boy." Stacey

The door opens again and Power Surge enters the room.

"Morning." Power Surge

"Yo PS! What's up?!" Charger

"Yo C! Been a while." Power Surge

"Hey. Been up long?" Stacey

"Nah just got up. Lynx is out cold so I thought I'd come see what the fuss is about." Power Surge

"You doing okay?" Leonis

"... Yeah.. I'm good. So... What's that?" Power Surge

"As far as I can tell... A large mixture of metals." Phoenix

"That's as accurate as it gets." Insight

"Who'd you snatch it from?" Power Surge

"Raid." Insight

Everyone except for Sigma and Phoenix look towards Insight in shock.

"Raid?!!" Sky

"Please tell me we know more than one." Stacey

"You raided The Raid? Nice!" Charger

Sky, Leonis, The Shogun and Stacey glance over at Charger with beaming looks.

"..... What?" Charger

"That was a reckless move! But admittingly, leaving it in Raid's possession would've been a bad move." Stacey

"Your just saying that because she gave it to you." Sky

"No!.... Shaddup." Stacey

Just then, everyone is alerted to a couple of distress calls from they're wrist communicators and from the main console.

"A distress call... From Global 1?! Again?!" Stacey says then pulls up a communication link.

"Finally! I've been trying to reach you guys for like forever!" Road Burn

"Road Burn?! I thought you went to go have a chat with Light Speed? What're you doing up there?" Charger

"I did. That's where I saw that one of his satellites picked up a visual of something shoot into Global 1. Since no distress call was picked up I thought I'd scout it out just to be on the safe side but it turns out that Global 1's been infected with some kind of alien virus. I would've called sooner but it was blocking all transmissions and I had to find an alternative." Road Burn

"And that's not the only problem. We got reports of multiple attacks in the city." Leonis

"Four different areas by the looks of it." Sky says then pulls up a visual of each one.

"Mad Dog. He's mine!" Leonis says picking his area with his person of interest.

"Who's that following him?" Stacey asks pointing out the person on Mad Dog's six.

"Jurrasic! I'll take him on!" Power Surge

"Me and Insight will take on Hunter and The Android accompanying him." Sky

"Sounds like fun!" Insight

Sigma looks in a different area and spots Specter on a rooftop accompanying none other than Raid himself.

"I see our targets." Sigma

Both Sigma and The Shogun look at each other and nod their heads as confirmation.

"What is that thing?!" Stacey asks pointing out the monstrous creature in the last area.

"No idea but I'll have to go and introduce myself. Think you can keep up rookie?" Charger

"Heh! Should be a cake walk with the heat I'm packing!" Phoenix

"That's what I'm talking about!" Charger

"In the meantime I'll have to go help Road Burn at Global 1." Stacey

"Well then what're we waiting for? Alliance! Get to it!" Leonis
