Chapter 12: Are You Secretly Calling Me Sly and Cunning?

Sophia knew that he could see everything captured by the cameras in the room.

But could he not leave his shirt open like that? Sophia lamented in her heart. Although she was extremely averse to his touch, that didn't mean her senses were dead. She was a woman after all, and seeing such a sexy chest, her blood also rushed faster, okay?

In the past, when those sleazy scions tried to assault her, she had seen their chests, yet she remained unfazed, even plotting in her mind how to incapacitate them. Why did this man in front of her make her feel somewhat short-circuited?

Sophia looked up, trying her best to ignore his chest, controlling her expression as she said, "CEO Leo, you kept me here but left without making any arrangements, isn't it because you had the intention to test me? Since you think so highly of me, how could I hide my abilities? Of course, I should show you all I've got."

Leo found it amusing as she spoke so officially, yet her eyes darted from side to side, avoiding looking at his chest. This awkwardness made him smile.

Sophia was a bit annoyed, glaring at him. What's so funny?

And, could he let her go? His hand was so hot, the spot on her waist where his hand was, felt extremely hot. Moreover, the distance between them was too close, truly dangerous.

"Let me get up!" She stubbornly started to struggle again.

However, he stared at the spot on her left arm that she was covering, without even lifting his eyelids. "Continue, why did you break into my room?"

Sophia felt as if the skin under his gaze was burning. "Hey, you're not allowed to look!" she howled somewhat hysterically.

"If you don't speak…" Leo pinched her waist, pulling her closer to himself.

Sophia hurriedly said, "Because they said no woman has ever entered your room, I became curious and competitive in the moment, so I broke in. You should know, I'm quite skilled with my hands..."

"To be able to open my room door in five seconds, 'quite skilled' is an understatement." Leo commentary nonchalantly. Then, looking into her eyes with a teasing tone, he said, "Little liar, you expressed your wish to enter my room even before they mentioned no woman had ever been inside." Perhaps anticipating what was going to happen next, he began to tease her.

Sophia was totally immersed in the fear of possibly being overpowered by him, not noticing his teasing at all. Moreover, he was so vigilant, even figuring out the sequence of her conversation with the servants; Sophia felt like she was about to become the fish on his chopping board.

"Speak up, I have limited patience!" Leo's gaze became threatening.

"Because only by successfully staying in your room, could I secure my position and get more money to save my brother," Sophia gave a lame reason. The top international female detective, yet lying so poorly.

At this moment, Sophia regretted a bit.

Had she known, she would have learned at least a bit of seduction from her sisters. Even if she couldn't take a man's life with beauty, at least she would face such situations unflustered, thinking as sharply as ever.

Indeed, upon hearing her explanation, Leo laughed, "Spewing utter nonsense!"

She could barely tolerate being touched by him and wished to turn him into a eunuch, let alone allowing him to touch her again. Moreover, her mother only took ten million from him, which she found excessive.

After such a long delay, Leo was completely out of patience. Grabbing her chin, a cold light began to emerge in his eyes.

"Speak, besides getting money from me and ensuring better treatment for your brother, what other motives do you have!"

His serious, fierce demeanor actually dispelled Sophia's frivolous thoughts, igniting her fighting spirit; her thinking became sharp again: "Could it be that you've done something guilty, or perhaps there's some unspeakable secret in this room, afraid of being discovered?" she cunningly counter-asked.

Leo didn't address her question at all. "Do you think, because you aggressively broke into my room and blatantly rifled through my things, I wouldn't suspect you had ulterior motives?"

Sophia paled, immediately struggling to sit up, adopting a defensive posture.

Strangely, Leo actually loosened his grip. He straightened up, the coldness in his eyes vanished in an instant, instead looking at her with a hint of amusement in his eyes.

Sophia didn't lower her guard, her heart feeling even more uneasy.

Then, Leo began to undo his cufflinks, and even started to unbuckle his belt.

Sophia realized then.

He didn't care; he really didn't care about her probing his secrets, hence not insisting on her confessing her ulterior motives. He also wasn't afraid of her actually discovering any secrets.

His earlier rigorous interrogation was merely him, the hunter, toying with her, the little cat.

Damn, this cunning bastard!

"Are you secretly calling me sly and cunning?"
