Chapter 11 – Be Careful With a Lie
"Idol?! Really? You're so cool, James!"
Sienna was excited and clapped her hands.
"So, you want to be a singer?" Amy looked at him with wide eyes.
"Yes, I do. I love singing. And I want to dance too. I want to be an idol and perform on stage."
Tom had always wanted to become a singer. But entering an idol audition was just a... setting he created for James when he created this appearance.
Heck, he didn't know whether there was any idol audition in the city or not. He just bluted it out.

Mary smiled and nodded. She looked at Tom and said, "I want to be closer to you, James. What about you? Do you want to be with me and Amy?"
Tom could feel his heart beating faster in his chest. He nodded his head slowly.
"Yes, I do."
The two girls smiled widely when he said that. Sienna blushed again and looked down on the table.

Tom couldn't help but smile. He loved it when women were direct. It made things easier for him.
"But let's keep this conversation down, alright? While there are not many people here, Sienna looks like she's on the verge of tears."

After that, they ate their food and drank their drinks. The girls chatted happily while Tom listened to them.
The cafe was filled with the sounds of their laughter and conversation. After the lunch ended, Sienna bid goodbye.
"I have to tutor a kid after this. I will see you tomorrow at the test."
"Okay. Take care, Sienna. Don't overwork yourself." Tom waved his hand.
"Bye, Sienna! Good luck tutoring."
"See you later, Sienna. I hope the kid will be smart like you."
"Thank you."
It was a surprise that Sienna was tutoring someone. But it explained why she was so good at explaining things.
"Okay, we should go back too. Thank you for taking us out, James. You're so sweet."
"Yes, thank you, James. I want to kiss you right now."
Amy and Mary hugged his arms and kissed his cheek. They both smiled brightly at him.
Tom blushed a little as he returned the hug and walked with them back to their apartment.
It was a short walk, but the two girls managed to make him flustered with their compliments.
"See you tomorrow." He waved goodbye to the twins, who waved back at him.
He felt so happy that he couldn't stop smiling.
'I'm so lucky. I got closer to the twins today. They also shared a few things about them. And they were so cute and flirty too. I can't wait to spend time with them again.'
Tom went back to his apartment and sat down on his bed. He was feeling tired, but his heart was full of happiness. He reverted his appearance back and felt slightly empty.

'I need to complete this quest as soon as possible. I can't wait to see what kind of reward I will get this time.'
He was excited.

Tom went to the college's cafeteria with Sam. They sat down at a table near the window, enjoying the sunlight that streamed through it.

"I am dead. The test... It was so hard."
Sam muttered, his eyes unfocused. He seemed to be lost in thought as he stared blankly at nothing.

Sam looked up at him with hopeful eyes.
Tom nodded.
