the cycle of time must move forward

**Nedzu POV (17 months later)**

Nedzu exclaimed in joy. It had been a rough 37 months, but he had done it. He had found a child described as brilliant by the teachers, far beyond his peers in knowledge. This child understood theories of human Earth and knew more than his teachers. Nedzu pressed a finger to a speaker and declared a meeting with the teachers. This was something they needed to know. He set the meeting for two weeks from now.

**Enter Aizawa Shota POV**

Aizawa had been overly paranoid, so don't question him for why he jumped when he was called. He was extremely afraid of what Nedzu had found, so the two-week notice for a meeting was a bit creepy. Anyone at UA, or anyone who had met Nedzu, knew that he was usually aware of everything going on. Because of this, UA had been the top hero school in Japan since he took office.

Now, Aizawa paid attention to his students. This batch of students was one month into their training, and they were starting the daily fights. As he announced this, the class erupted into murmurs and cheers. They knew this was Aizawa's practical exam for them. Anyone whose combat strength was subpar would get the boot. Aizawa had an uncanny knack for slowing the pace of battle and controlling it from there. He was an astoundingly good teacher who cared for his students and never wanted to see their deaths on a screen. This was why he was strict.

The class went outside, and the first student called was Yakitori. He had a transformation quirk that allowed him to transform parts of his body into mirrors. As long as he could tank the attack, it was reflected with double force. If the attack wasn't tankable, his mirrors shattered, and he took half the damage, with his mirrors repairing after a short rest. Aizawa put himself in a defensive stance, ready to deflect Yakitori's blows. Yakitori mirrored him with a different defensive stance. When Yakitori didn't move, Aizawa flung his capture scarf towards Yakitori's neck but changed direction at the last second towards his ankle. Yakitori's mirrors were on his neck, so he was snagged by his leg. The first fight was uneventful; Yakitori needed to learn proper defensive stances and how to predict attacks.

Next in line was Pirotia. Her quirk was a combination of a transformation quirk and a mutation quirk. It allowed her to change everything about herself by just thinking about it. She could have chainsaws for arms, change genders, or become anything she wanted. It was suited for combat to an extent. Aizawa got into a stance, and she decided to be mischievous by transforming into a 12-foot-tall giantess. Her clothes ripped, but she kept everything hidden, so nothing inappropriate was shown. She stepped on Aizawa as soon as he said "start." She won while essentially butt-naked because her clothes didn't change with her. When she changed back, she made everything sexual disappear. Thankfully, the class wasn't flashed. In her normal form, she was considered beautiful by her classmates. Aizawa continued calling the next students throughout the entire day.

**Enter two weeks later at the meeting**

"Do any of you know why this meeting is being held? Raise your hand if you do," Nedzu said, but no hands were raised. Nedzu continued, "Good. If this information got out, the whole world would act like the second coming of Hitler is among us."

Vlad King spoke up, "Nedzu, though I don't want to, I have to question your intelligence here." Vlad King's expression turned cocky, but Nedzu didn't take it well. His lips curled up, and his muscles morphed his smile into a predatory grin.

"Step out of the room if you want to be cocky. Go ahead. I'll have Aizawa signal you back in when ready," Nedzu said. Vlad King left, and Nedzu continued, "This person is scary. He got here through a mess-up of a machine. When I released his soul, some of his memories were also released. I will show you what type of person he was. These are from the memories that were left."

Nemuri, worry etched on her face, raised her hand. "Go ahead, speak your mind," Nedzu told her.

"Why was Vlad excluded from the room for this?" Nemuri asked.

Nedzu looked at her and replied, "I meant to warn you. Your guts may accidentally slip out from what you're about to see. Aizawa, get Vlad King back in here."

Aizawa brought Vlad King back, and Nedzu displayed a video of the corrupted memories on screen. The footage was horrifying—scenes of violence, destruction, and morally repugnant acts played out in front of the teachers.

Present Mic's face turned a ghastly shade of green, and he barely made it to the trash can before vomiting. Midnight clutched her stomach, trying to suppress the nausea that was threatening to overtake her. Snipe turned away, covering his mouth with his hand, visibly shaken. Nedzu had a predatory glee on his face as he spoke to Vlad King, "Now, are you ready to see what I was worried about?"

Vlad King nodded, and Nedzu proceeded to show a series of vile memories, interspersed with some accomplishments. "After three years, I have found him. His daycare says he's brilliant to an extent that they don't understand. Meet Kistrume, who I believe to be Finn from that life."

Vlad King had a major outburst, "Then we should restrain him and kill him. What I saw there was vile."

Aizawa leveled an extremely harsh glare towards Vlad King, his face seething with anger. "The rat has no definitive proof of him being this kid. Stop and think before speaking."

Aizawa uttered a multitude of slurs that were too serious to be said in any public setting, but this situation was too stressful for his taste.
