Mom Is Alive

Alexis yelled out, "Hold on a second. I'm still confused as to why you spilled all this to me. You never spill unless there's a benefit for you. Who bribed you?" Sota swiftly turned around, seized Alexis's collar, and retorted, "Do you really think I'm a greedy fool like dad? Absolutely not. I confided in you because you're my older brother." With that, he released Alexis's collar and briskly turned away to conceal the blush on his face. Alexis let out a scoff before bursting into uncontrollable laughter. He tumbled to the floor, rolling from side to side, laughing hysterically. Sota kicked him and sternly said, "Shut up." Alexis got up, rubbing the spot where Sota had kicked him, but he couldn't contain his laughter. Sota shot him a glare. After a few moments, Alexis managed to compose himself and asked, "Who did this to you?" before bursting into laughter once more. Sota snapped, "Zip it. Seriously, can you? You're totally mortifying us at the moment." Alexis quipped, "Is it a she or a he? I swear I won't be critical," with a smirk. Sota retorted, "Not your concern." Alexis countered, "It kind of is my concern. My little bro's romantic pursuits are of interest to me," with a smirk. Sota turned his head, cheeks flushing, and mumbled "Not a girl."

Shuji, Koji, and Rei took a step back as soon as Sota grabbed Alexis's collar. This wasn't their battle, no matter what kind of relationship they had with Alexis. Sota proposed, "Shall we pay a visit to mother?" Alexis replied, "Sure, but it won't be all rainbows and butterflies. I need to have a serious talk with her about the chaotic mess my life has been until I turned 21, all thanks to her." Sota grinned mischievously and urged, "Lead the way, my Shuji." Shuji chimed in, "Unfortunately, they're not home. We'll have to wait until next Wednesday, right after the inspection." Alexis inquired "What about grandma?" to which Sota responded casually "She passed away two years back." Alexis wasted no time in saying "Good riddance. Such a judgmental creep." Sota quickly chimed in saying "Tell me about it, she was such a control freak."

Sota shared his Line ID, and Alexis responded with a scoff, saying, "I knew it long ago, you creep. Like I would need it." Sota laughed, "Go ahead, you creep. Your pathetic hacking skills were no match for me." Rei laughed as the two brothers reunited. They used to despise each other until the older one turned 15. After 9 years apart, they were now back to their usual banter and friendly arguments.
