My Student

Alexis came to a halt before the grand mansion, a flicker of recognition washing over him as he spotted someone approaching. Memories of the previous night flooded back, and he declared, "You two can get out here; I have some pressing matters to attend to," his tone betraying a hint of unease, as if he had encountered a specter. Rei, ever the perceptive one, caught the urgency in Alexis's demeanor and flashed a cheeky grin. "Al, why not say hello to Koji and help me win him back?" he suggested, before Alexis could muster a response. With a playful tug, Rei pulled him along, instructing Aoki to secure the car and grab the keys. Realizing resistance was futile, especially with Shuji already spotting him, Alexis felt the weight of inevitability. Rei, sensing the moment, released his grip and dashed into the house, calling out "Koji!" as if summoning a shy pet. Shuji's face lit up with delight upon seeing Alexis. "Al, what brings you here?" he asked, his smile infectious. Alexis muttered under his breath, "Bad luck," prompting Shuji to lean in, "What? I didn't catch that."

Alexis uttered a mere "nothing" before striding into the mansion, with Shuji trailing behind like an eager shadow. "Why are you ignoring me?" he inquired, his tone laced with curiosity. "How could I possibly ignore you?" Alexis retorted, though in his mind, he completed it with a silent, 'you are the damn devil.' "So, how about we go out tomorrow?" Shuji suggested, his eyes sparkling with hope. "I still haven't finished the update on Legends," Alexis replied, a hint of reluctance in his voice. "I can handle it the next day," Shuji countered, leaving him little choice but to concede. As they entered, Aoki and Rei lounged on the couch beside Koji, indulging in treats brought by the maids. Aoki was animatedly persuading Koji, while Rei pouted like a petulant child. "Shun! Come out, I need to talk to you!" Alexis called out, drawing Aoki's attention. "Who's Shun?" he asked, just as Shun appeared from the staircase, oblivious to the question until she heard her name. "That's me," she replied, only to nearly leap out of her skin upon spotting Aoki. "What the hell are you doing here?" Aoki exclaimed, a mix of anger and embarrassment coloring his tone. Shun averted her gaze, a bashful smile gracing her lips as she remarked, "This is my family home, so of course, I'll be here," her laughter tinged with nervousness. Alexis, weary of the repetitive scenario, quipped, "Let me guess, you two were an item, right?" Shun shrieked, "Eww, fuckin' no!" Aoki wore a peculiar expression, nearly retching as he chimed in, "Ew. No way, no fuckin' way!" Shuji exhaled a sigh of relief, knowing that if she had ever dated that guy, he would have grounded her for eternity—after all, she was the female equivalent of a womanizer. Aoki interjected, "Hold on, how exactly are you all connected?" addressing the group in perfect harmony. They replied in unison, "We're stepbrothers, along with our half-sister," as if they had practiced this line. Shun nodded in affirmation. Aoki, taken aback, nearly toppled off the couch. With a look of genuine concern, he exclaimed, "Then how on earth are you dating?" Alexis responded, "We started dating before we discovered we were siblings." Aoki gasped dramatically, delivering a sarcastic "Wow" that dripped with disbelief.

Shuji inquired, "Hold on, how do you two know each other?" Aoki replied, "I used to teach her before, well, Usami took over." Shuji clenched his jaw in frustration. Alexis couldn't help but chuckle, finding Shuji's childlike demeanor utterly entertaining. Koji then announced, "Alright, I need to leave." But Rei, not having any of it, grabbed his wrist and forced him back into his seat. Growing weary of the antics, Alexis asked, "What's going on, Koji? Did Rei hurt you?" His concern was genuine, casting a wary glance at Rei, knowing full well that Koji wouldn't be ignoring him without a reason. Koji, blushing, finally found the courage to lean in and whisper to Alexis, "My back hurts every single time. I'm scared cause he's just too damn hard on me." Alexis shot back, "I knew it! REI, HAVE SOME CONSIDERATION!" he bellowed at him.
