A gym-obsessed 18-year-old boy was walking down the street, his mind filled with thoughts of his next workout. Suddenly, a truck barreled towards him, giving him no time to react. One evening, Chizuru gathered Nami and Kyoko via a group call. Her normally soothing voice had a newfound edge of authority, "Listen up. Dungeon 39C has reported a surge in monster activity. There's a 50-floor dive waiting to be conquered if either of you are interested in teaming up."

Both girls exchanged excited looks. Kyoko's eyes danced with anticipation. "You bet we're interested! We've been wanting to test our skills against a tougher challenge."

Nami chuckled, adding, "Plus, who wouldn't want to partner with Izanagi? Let's do it!"

A smirk spread across Chizuru's face. "Glad to hear it. Meet me at the entrance to Dungeon 39C tomorrow morning. Remember, we're not just fighting monsters; we're protecting the innocent that may accidentally stumble into these lethal labyrinths."

The trio agreed on the meeting place and time before signing off, their bond as Protectors strengthened as they geared up for their next venture into the gut-wrenching darkness.

Next morning, as the sun began its ascent over the horizon, Chizuru, Nami, and Kyoko made their way to the Protector Association, eager to sign up for Dungeon 39C. They stood before the Association with a newfound determination, ready to conquer a challenge that lay far beyond what they've faced before.

They approached the receptionist and relayed their request. The woman behind the counter hesitated before delivering the unfortunate news. "I'm sorry, but due to recent updates, only parties of five or more are permitted to venture into Dungeons unless it's the Gate. And even for the Gate, you can enter with a team or alone, but given its tameness, one might not gain much."

Deflated sighs escaped the three teens, their momentum halted by a seemingly unfair ruling. They'd come to tackle the monolithic labyrinth, not aimless gates.

Nami scratched her head, a glint of cunning glimmering within her eyes. "If only we had a couple more to join us..."

A spark of inspiration lit within Chizuru, and she directed her question to the other two. "Perhaps your parents could join us? With their level of experience, they'd be considerable assets to our cause and could meet the requirement."

Kyoko shook her head. "Unfortunately, they're on another Gate raid this morning. But mother did mention that tomorrow, after everyone's done with their solo missions, they could regroup. We could ask them to join us then."

Chizuru nodded, her disappointment evaporating into resignation. "Alright, then. We'll have to find some other teammates to help us reach the required party size. Let's head over to the training hall. Maybe someone we know from school is also a Protector, and they'd be willing to join us."
