Chapter 5.1: Development of Divine Arts
Through my own savings, I purchased some basic books related to the divine field of divine arts from World Hunter stores.
Among the curiosities I was able to determine, divine arts consist of an interpretation of many divine skills coming from divine monsters and divine hunter skills, which were used as inspiration by experts who developed them for generations, passing them on to their disciples, improving them over time or degrading them to make them more accessible to others.
The divine arts on the market are quite limited in public access, being mostly the weakest and most miserable. Private organizations, noble families, and divine academies are the ones who have access to these more easily to maintain control and public order.
Can ordinary hunters develop their own divine arts? In theory, they can do it, however, they risk dying because only a small energy imbalance is necessary to kill them and internally explode their bodies, only the craziest, most daring and without fear of death could try to develop them. Of course, these same common and ordinary origins can also aspire to be part of said private organizations, noble families or academies to request a teacher and learn them with a higher level of security.
I was not particularly interested in entering a private organization, noble family, since these same ones, in order to obtain the benefits they have, will practically turn you into a slave with many limitations and restrictions. In the divine academies, you have to spend an amount of money that I do not count on. So I can only count on my own individual capacities to achieve success.
-Let's start with the most basic physical strengthening-
Physical strengthening consisted of the concentration of divine energy in certain areas of the body to receive an increase corresponding to the quality of divine veins that you have in your body. In my case, it would be a 100% increase. There are derivatives of the same base, such as "sense strengthening," which sharpens specific senses and "Physical hardening," which consists of defensive energy concentration by contracting the muscles.
Curiously, I tried to concentrate the greatest amount of energy on my arms.

My arms exploded in different areas. The dream was so real, graphically showing me the results of my arms exploding and all the corresponding senses of pain before thinking about recovering.

After different explosions, I tried trials and errors until I achieved the correct proportion that I can withstand. The power of my attack and speed with my fist clearly improved. But the amount of divine energy spent was too much for my taste.
-MMM, I want more efficiency, effectiveness and performance in the physical and energetic use of my body, As a solitary hunter, I cannot spend all my energy on a single monster with the possibility that others will come after finishing that one. Seeking to achieve efficiency, I use {Limitless Vision} to create simulations.

I was in bed, enduring terrible headaches, putting ice on myself, and taking some pain pills. I had spent several days in my dreams doing simulations and training to develop a divine art that pleased me called [Sublime Strengthening].
[Sublime Strengthening] It consists of using my [Divine System] to control my body by concentrating energy in certain areas to perform highly efficient, effective, muscular and energetic performance movements. It improved my physical capabilities, senses and precision by 100%. The process is that it is simply painful to use; it is as if I were controlling my body with strings and bringing it to a natural movement is complicated.
It is like consciously controlling each part of your body looking for efficiency, effectiveness, muscular performance and corresponding blood pumping. Even with the simulations of {Unlimited Vision}, it is simply too hellish to apply it and master it accordingly. I will have to use it as many times as possible in my day-to-day life to develop muscle memory and corresponding energy control in the long term.
I had developed another divine art inspired by Dark's ability, {Shadow Mastery}, I practically did not change the name; I just turned it into a divine art [Shadow Mastery], Which consists of influencing your shadow with the darkness element of your body and turning it into a tool. The difficulty of using it is as great as [Sublime Strengthening]
When I use the skill {Shadow Mastery}, it is as normal and instinctive as breathing, it feels like all the processes involved in performing it are not involved in my mind, however, when trying to use it as a divine art, practically all the processes involved appear to require straining my mind to achieve the same result.
The development of divine arts, in short, is a system where imagination intervenes, needing a clear image of what is desired, construction of the corresponding structure, necessary and sufficient fuel to carry it out, and the management to bring it to reality that corresponds to activating the entire imagination-structure-fuel system in a few seconds. It only takes one error in the entire system to explode and damage you horribly. It does not surprise me at all that hunters did not want to develop them.
Curiously, the skills are more instinctive, as if only imagination-fuel were needed, as if the structure and management part became natural instinct. But I wanted to properly develop [Shadow Mastery] as a divine art to leave 2 free slots of {Shadow Devourer} for when I have the ability to find powerful divine skills.
Damn combat uniform that is difficult to develop too-
With {Thread segregation, I am currently practicing the construction of a symbiotic combat uniform. It was both to save money on future divine equipment and to have a custom suit to my liking. The problem is that the number of threads that I can generate even with the spider legs are quite limited, the more complicated its structure was.
I dedicated myself to designing a combat suit using the threads that would allow me to generate a fabric with a hardness similar to my diamond-class constitution. It is disgustingly difficult that even in my dreams, designing it is complicated and mentally tortuous; bringing it to reality will take time.
The process practically consists of creating a divine system that works like other muscles, improving my physical capabilities by 100%. A multi-layered internal construction that allows me to absorb and disperse impact, slash, and stab attacks. Due to its natural elements of darkness, lightning, and darkness, it improves my defensive and regenerative capabilities, being evolutionary when connecting with the user. Building it would take me the rest of the year due to the disgusting complexity of building it, since the amount of thread I can produce with the corresponding complexity is too small, even with the spider legs.
I will dedicate my time in the next few months to the development of [Sublime Strengthening], [Shadow Mastery], and the development of my combat uniform. In this way, my future combat capabilities and success percentage rates would increase even if unforeseen events or variables outside of my calculations appear. I learned a truly unpleasant and horrible lesson with that, Arachne.
No, maybe if it was just the Arachne, it wouldn't have been a problem to bear. The thing was that damned situation of the elf girl's memories—I, who had fear problems from the beginning with kidnappers, rapists, thieves and people more powerful than me capable of dominating me. It only increased thanks to discovering the thoughts of unpleasant and disgusting people of the elite. I can't afford to be weak and powerless or I will suffer many of the consequences that come with being unable to protect you.

Dante was not fully aware that his actions were similar to those used by many professional divine arts development organizations, using RID systems that were, in certain measures, worse in their treatment of volunteers. Since they usually used slaves or people destined to die from prisons with divine abilities as volunteers for divine arts development experiments, where they usually died over and over again until they had a mental breakdown, in the worst cases, they didn't even let them die living in a continuous prison as experiment subjects.
Divine arts were topics of utmost relevance and importance, no matter how much the elite, like nobles, private academies of divine hunters, private organizations approved by the government for their development and use,. There are always clandestine organizations wanting a piece of the pie from others, being able to steal them or apply the construction of them through horrible methods to achieve their goals.

To relax my mind I had recently bought a divine tool called "Headphones." It was only necessary to pay for a radio service to listen to news or music, You could also add the purchase of some special sound crystals with the albums of musical artists, In my case, I found the genre of rock and metal to be to my personal taste, Linda chose some classical and pop music.
Linda, as a guardian fairy, was, to a certain extent, not so different from Dark's. She will die when I die. Her symbiosis skills allow her to use the divine arts and divine abilities, which I possess. {Spiritual Communication} with the spirits {Plant Mastery} Allows her to control most plants and some plant-type monsters. The only downside is that she needs to use my divine energy to use her skills and a fight can be dangerous by weakening me and putting me in dangerous conditions without a proper strategy. Even so, it is better to have her than to need her, Linda can help me if I am taken by surprise and apply my divine arts or divine skills in emergency situations.
In the store, there were different types of classical instruments and others that worked with interesting divine energy. I bought a guitar, keyboard, and bass with their respective practice books and music scores. In my room, after memorizing all the practice books and scores, I lay on my bed with the guitar through a simulation with {Limitless Vision} with the necessary movements for all the music and apply {Sublime Strengthening} to control my fingers and hands, playing a harmonious and beautiful rhythm.
-It's a hobby that I can get used to-
My plans for mastering {Sublime Strengthening}, which is extremely difficult and complicated to use,. However, as the mastery of the divine art increases, it feels more natural and comfortable to use instinctively. Therefore, using it as much as possible in my daily life, dreams or hobbies is necessary to develop the correct muscle memory.
If I could use {Sublime Strengthening} to the point of developing muscle memory, even if I don't have {Sublime Strengthening} activated, my body will instinctively move with the greatest efficiency, effectiveness and muscular performance, avoiding unnecessary movements, saving physical energy and getting the most out of the body, to the point that using {Sublime Strengthening} would not require much thought since it would be a natural movement with extra energy. For someone who is developing a formless martial art focused on evasion, deflections, blocks, counterattacks and rhythm control. Great precision was necessary.
To master [Shadow Mastery], I will have to be inspired by Dark, taking him as an example in his use of energy manipulation and control to the point that it comes naturally and easily in a certain beautiful sense. I am interested in mastering it since it is a truly versatile art for combat, storage and applying it to the surprise factor when hunting.
While playing music, I thought about my daily routines: practically intense physical training for 4-5 hours, dreams developing my martial arts, divine suffering from migraines, and having my combat uniform. I was enjoying this hobby for the practice and development of [Sublime Strengthening] because, in a certain sense, it is relaxing and calming.
Sometimes I wish I had fewer responsibilities, to have a common and ordinary life without so much stress, just focusing on my hobbies and enjoying life without so many problems, such an innocent and naive phase of the life of many children. Unfortunately, I know a lot of darkness and reality in the world, My traumas have increased after my experiences, and I have responsibilities with my dependents, like Ruby living her day to day and Devora with her streets. Not to mention that the benefits I have today are due to my hard work, If I want to maintain this stability and happiness enough to focus on training or a hobby like music, it comes with the responsibility of making me stronger.
After trying 3 meals and 3 snacks in my daily life, visiting good restaurants with delicious food, buying clothes that were not used by others, sleeping in a comfortable bed, bathing every day, buying candy or other things that provoke me. Not to mention the power to protect myself and other loved ones. It is too good, addictive and comfortable to go back to being on the streets in a miserable box, surviving day to day in misery and fearing everyone.
