The gap

Leaving the company, Guo Junkai drove to pick up Li Tianqi and head to Zhou Liao's place.

"What's the occasion today? Why is Aliao suddenly cooking for us?"

As he got in the car, Li Tianqi asked Guo Junkai, somewhat puzzled.

"You've known him for so many years, have you ever heard that he can cook? It's probably just a whim after practicing for a couple of days, and now he wants to validate the results by using us as guinea pigs."

Guo Junkai wasn't holding high expectations for the dinner.

"Once we get to his place, keep your eyes peeled, and if his cooking looks absolutely inedible, quickly take over. I don't want to eat undercooked food."

Supporting a brother is one thing, but he wouldn't compromise his stomach, that was his bottom line.

"You should be thankful there's food at all, Aliao is after all your boss. He cooks for you and you dare to be picky?" Li Tianqi teased.
