"..."
Jiang Ni turned around like a child who had done something wrong, panic-stricken.
The man who had just said he was at the office not long ago suddenly appeared behind her, still holding the file bag from last night.
After what had happened last night, seeing him now made Jiang Ni somewhat shy, not wanting to make eye contact with him.
"Didn't you say you were going to the office?"
She hid her hands behind her back, her gaze darting all over the place before briefly sweeping over his neck in a fluster.
He must have loosened his tie when coming up the stairs, as now his collar was slightly open, revealing several vague scratch marks on his wheat-colored skin.
They looked like they were made by a cat's claw.
But he didn't have a cat.
The only one who had been close to him last night was her.
Yet Jiang Ni couldn't remember scratching him at all.
Her cheeks turned a slight red when her gaze touched the red marks.
