Shen Chaoxi lifted her coffee, lowering her head to smell it before taking a small sip.
The coffee was average, not quite on par with that from a proper coffee shop, mainly because the quality of the coffee powder was not the best.
"To each their own," she said, "but still, thank you for taking the time to read my book so earnestly."
They discussed their views on the novel a bit more before Shen Chaoxi suddenly changed the subject.
"Feifei, have you ever been in love? Do you have any bottom lines concerning your values on love that you insist on?"
Shen Chaoxi did not want to beat around the bush, asking her question very straightforwardly.
Upon hearing this, Feifei was taken aback, her eyebrows furrowing.
"Why do you ask this?"
