Chapter 48: Poor

Ding Chao, Ruan Qiao's agent, was affectionately called Brother Chao by everyone. He carried a square, honest face, was friendly and approachable, but his temper was as fiery as Ruan Qiao's, and he was quite impulsive.

Su Wan had once wondered whether Qiaoqiao and her agent were long-lost relatives.

"Not interrupting at all!" Ding Chao looked at Su Wan as if he had seen his savior, his eyes squinting with a smile, "It's really great to have Miss Su here. I was hoping you could give some advice to Yingchun. The kid is thick-headed and just doesn't seem to get it."

As he spoke, his gaze shifted to the girl, and with a frown, he said, "Yingchun, aren't you going to say hello to Miss Su quickly?"

Jiang Yingchun looked up and quietly said, "Miss Su."

"Oh dear, child, who can hear you when you're so quiet?"

Jiang Yingchun bit her lip and, stubbornly, did not say another word.

Ding Chao glared at her with a look of frustration and then turned back with a smile on his face.
