Chapter 115, Making a Scene (2nd Update)

Though it was called a kitchen, it was really nothing more than a makeshift shed, with a cooking area and a dining space beneath, a large iron pot, and while not very spacious, everything was tidied up neatly. On the wooden table to the side, there were two bowls of crabs.

"Wow, these crabs look pretty good!" the old lady exclaimed in surprise.

The mute husband hurriedly said, "Mom's here, my wife and I were just saying, we should bring a bowl of crabs over for Dad to enjoy with his drink!"

"Just one bowl?" the old lady raised her eyebrows, "How will one bowl be enough? There are so many of us at home, and with one chopstick per person, they'll be gone. Since you mentioned honoring your parents, I'll just take both bowls, and give your nephews a taste as well!"

The mute father became anxiously upset upon hearing this.

Tears welled up in the eyes of the mute man's three brothers and youngest sister at the doorway.
