Ending the night talk

- Did you understand ?

Alessio said:

- So does that mean we can use things related to energy that we have an affinity for?

- Yes .

William was thinking about some things then looking at the group that was still digesting things, he looked at Anka again...

- Can you say roughly what each element does? And how big is the possibility that we have affinity with them?

Anka was a little tired now, but she wanted to finish what she started...

- The most used and most likely the one we will all have an affinity for is obviously magic. This is related to simple spells that can be from all fields and categories. Like levitation spells and fireballs.

Then comes the energy of Space as I said earlier. With it you can deepen the secrets around you and better control the elements of nature.

Hard to believe, but Time will come. It can give you the privilege to effectively stop time for a few seconds, or the chance to go back in time to some degree, but usually people with time powers are very hidden and don't get involved. Nothing concrete is known about this category, but powers related to information, knowledge and memory are said to be controlled by time.

After a second of drinking water, the girl continues.

- The Shadow follows. This energy is lawless. Known as chaos in the universe and usually owned by crazy people. It is not known whether the energy itself leads to madness or madmen attract it. However, it is related to smoke, nightmares, dreams and hiding.

Then Life energy is clean, healing and peaceful. Gives powers related to these attributes. Such as light power. It is very rare but there are always people who receive it even if in small numbers.

As for Dead energy...those who gain powers related to it are never known. They are usually considered cursed. The fact that I attract this energy means only normal suffering. Because the rules when it comes to Death energy are complicated and strict... It is said that the only one who can be alive and have Death energy in her body is the Death goddess. Too bad , it's believed she have been sealed away somewhere.

Anka got up from the floor. She shook her numb legs a bit and then walked over to her bed which was closest to the window. Now that she finished saying what she had to say, decided to go to bed.

The group ignores it for now. But Alesio quickly asked her:

- Anka, how do you know all this?

Anka covered herself with a thin blanket.

- I read from a book.

- How safe are these informants?

Anka stood up and looked deeply at Alesio. Her face had no expression. The light from the window hid half of her face in the dark, making the atmosphere a little scary.

The girl just looked for a while then went to sleep.

- Think what you want.

The team then quietly went to bed.

They all wanted to be rested for tomorrow and even if they were a team now they weren't as close as it seems.

' I miss the elf, the star woman and the dragon a little now. I seem to get along better with other species than with my own species...'

The girl's mind flew to who knows where before she fell asleep.

The night passed quickly.

When the first rays of the sun came through the window, Anka woke up dazed. She had had some strange dreams, but now she couldn't remember them at all.

She ran hand through her hair irritated. Then had again organized informed ...

' Future actions need to be planned in a little more detail...'

'Will we get food here?'

' In the book Ella had never mentioned this...'

'What energy will I attract?'

' I think I already know the answer...'

'How will I do on the next tests?'

'Should I be more open with the team?'

'Should I approach them?'

'Should I tell them more?'

'What will I read at the library?'

'Should I look up the history of the Honap girl?'

'Should I practice history of magic?'

'Should ...'

Boom

A sudden bang sounded in the next room, interrupting Anka's train of thought.

Her teammates were awakened by that bang, and quickly stood up.

Anka still doesn't move. She didn't want to leave. She already knew what happened.

'I don't want to see any more drama.'

'I should avoid crowds as much as possible.'

'I don't have to get close to anyone.'

'I'm going to go crazy very quickly if I do.'

'Isn't there a way to prevent this ability from activating?'

'My mind seems much better since I got here...'

'My cloudy memory is clear again...'

' I feel that I can think well and calmly ...'

'Why does this place have this influence on me?'

'Is this a good thing or a bad thing?'

"The origins scenario is getting very close..."

'Should the planet be saved or should I leave it?'

'To take part in the war?'

'Which breed should I choose in the end?'

'Will we be able to pass this scenario just like in the book?'

While the rest went to see what happened, the girl sat and looked at the ceiling. Gradually the light outside became stronger and so did the noise.

' Looks like the fight isn't over..'

'How was stopped in the book?'

' Oh ... Ella will intervene with her powers ...'

'Should I go and see her?'

'I don't really have any desire though..'

'Does it seem like I'm rejecting her light powers a bit?'

'How many times have I changed my attitude?'

' Hmm.. it seems that a few times ...'

In the end she didn't leave.

Usually she would have enjoyed a free show, but today she didn't feel like it. She stayed in the room and looked out the window. When her teammates came to tell her they were going to the meeting room, Anka followed them.

A unique thing about this temple is that the stone cannot be destroyed, so even the battle of the early days probably did not cause any scratch on the wall or floor.

'I wonder when the teams will notice this fact...'

The girl looked at the stone servants she was passing. They were quite slow and noisy, she really wanted to see what they would do if they slipped and fell on all seven.

'How will they get up?'

The girl had a strange association of stone servants with some turtles who fell on their backs and couldn't get up...

While Anka's head was now full of turtles, all the teams arrived in the meeting room.

This was built to facilitate teaching so it had tables and chairs and the front podium had a huge black board. Right now there was a person on that podium. He was a scholar at first sight, he had quite comfortable clothes but his face looked tired. His hair was brown, as for his eyes...they couldn't be seen because of the too long bangs that covered them.

The man's posture was hunchbacked but his figure was thin. Honestly his body looked very young.

- Ahem. I am the assistant guard who takes care of this temple. I will be in charge of your testing and scoring the results. You can call me Teacher or Sir ... I don't want to make noise while I teach you and even more so during the tests ... So even if they are not equals in the temple I would like you to show the necessary respect as intelligent and civilized beings ...

The man's voice seemed rough, as if he hadn't spoken in a very long time. The tone was polite enough but contained an innate indifference. Those in the hall said nothing. They must have realized that the fuss made this morning was not something wise.

The teacher then guided them to the main hall. From there they went very deep into the building. They went down a dozen stairs and reached a very large cave. This had all kinds of luminous stones and phosphorescent plants, and the picture was very beautiful.

The deeper they went into the cave, the heavier the air seemed. For people the air full of energy was very oppressive that's why they even had to stop for a few minutes in the middle to rest.

When they reached their destination, a huge underground lake was right in front of them...

Plants similar to ivy were hanging down from the high ceiling, but they glowed in different colors.

In a certain place a little further ahead, the ceiling had a long crack through which the sunlight entered and the water shone like a mirror. The color of the water seemed to be ordinary.

A transparent water, but on the bottom of the lake they could be seen as colored clouds moving with the current. The ravishing image of the cave was appreciated by Anka and a feeling of anticipation suddenly gripped her…

Her eyes drifted to a certain side path hidden by other plants in the distance that skirted the lake.

She had no idea why but she had a strong desire to go in that direction. Then suppress these feelings.

'Neither the right place nor the right time...'

The teacher is right in front of the lake and began to speak:

- In total, only 5 teams reached the temple completely, that's why you are considered as the first class, the rest will have another teacher and will be assigned to another temple on another planet.

Then the group realized that the number that entered the temple with them yesterday was even 4 times higher than the number of people present.

'5 teams?'

Anka frowned a little. She thought it should have been 3 only...

'I understand that the Earth team had me who changed their fate, but why did the other one stay?'

Anka looked at the team that probably wasn't described as staying in that temple and frowned in thought.

'Whatever the reason, I'll find out along the way. They doesn't deserve my attention yet...'
