Underground

Anka spent a long time on the balcony.

She was sorting through all the events in her mind and drawing a line on the useless ones. Such as the memory of the soul from the well -Tuz Honap - or the memories taken from Wiliam.

Fortunately she could feel her mind becoming very cooperative.

It was as if she had a library in her mind and she placed each book as she wished.

Although this was something strange, she was beginning to have some acceptance of fantastic things.

Eventually, the human species will be wiped from the face of the universe, so it is not worth keeping a human mind.

After reaching several conclusions, she created a time list with goals.

She wanted to know more about the energy of death with which she seems to be very related. She planned to make a living weapon to use in battle. Meanwhile, she investigates the spontaneous memories in her mind to learn about a past she does not remember.

And last but not least, she had to find a solution for her body that cannot support her soul.

All these were very important things, it's a pity that some of them she had no idea how to do.

She slept that night on the balcony leaning against the wall.

The morning came quickly. The noises woke her up suddenly.

'Looks like they're fighting again.'

Anka rubbed the place between her eyebrows and her eyes were still very tired.

The girl stood up and jumped into the inner garden of the temple that stretched behind the building.

She chose a distant old tree and chose to continue sleeping.

'However, the situation will only change this afternoon. I can sleep until then...'

The sun was moving as usual in the sky, and soon it was time for lunch.

Anka had woken up.

She stretched her slightly stiff body and got down from the tree. With her feet on the grass, her eyes looked at the forest full of life for a few more moments.

Somehow a feeling of annoyance came over her for some reason.

Although she wanted to study her emotions right now, she knew she had to go to the temple.

In the plot described in Ella's book, the teacher of each temple would show up to give the first lesson.

Anka didn't want to miss it.

But she had a hunch that the surrender probably wasn't going to happen . But regardless of whether it will show or not, she was prepared for any scenario.

So she left for the dining room.

Everyone was already here.

Somehow the morning fight unexpectedly ended in peace ...

The girl just looked across the table at the obviously divided camps. She went to the window and sat on the ledge.

Now she had a sailor's uniform unfortunately. It was a little out of place to carry on top of a mountain, but there was nothing she could do about it.

'Storing more clothes in the closet is also on the priority list...'

The groupers went hunting constantly so the table was full of meat dishes.

Anka looked at the fruit baskets and a trace of admiration rose in her heart.

' They seem to be quite resourceful in the wild. Well most of them come from wild planets, only we humans have a planet full of comfort...'

- Come eat with us Anka!

Ella waved enthusiastically at Anka.

The girl just stared at her speechlessly.

Still she walked towards her.

She hadn't eaten anything since the previous day and even if she didn't feel hungry Anka wanted to feed her body.

'Perhaps my soul somehow influences the senses I receive...'

Anka sat down at the table. The place where she was sitting was the couch that separated Ella from Juliana, normally the border between the two bodies.

During the meal very little conversation took place.

Ella looked from time to time towards one of the entrances to the dining room.

' She is waiting for the teacher ...'

The more time passed the protagonist Ella became visibly more worried.

When the meal was almost over , her face was white and her eyes overflowed with annoyance.

Anka wanted to laugh, but then received a strange look from Ella. It was full of cold intentions and calculation.

'Oh..'

Anka just lowered her head.

' She's probably very upset right now. She linked my existence being an anomaly to the disruption of the plot that she knew...'

'In the book she read, Anka didn't exist until now...'

'My existence has become a variable in her plan..'

' She could know this from my great actions which did not appear in the book ...'

' Now she probably suspects that I also crossed in the book ...'

' I don't know if she will decide to become allies or if she will try to get rid of me...'

' After the time with the personality she has though I suspect ,she will try to kill me...'

'I will stay away from her...'

'I'm glad I found a way to separate my thoughts and not have to listen to this noise all the time...'

Her eyes crossed the table again and the different colors gave her an idea of the current situation.

Then Matella stood up to speak:

- Since the teacher did not appear, the agreement must be fulfilled. You will come with us in exploring the underground.

This time no one spoke and they silently accepted.

Only William looked at Ella for a moment with a worried look, but Ella ignored him.

- Anka, can you come with us?

Matella asked this question suddenly, and Anka just looked at the picture on the wall for a while, then nodded.

- Good . Then let's begin.

Then the group had a strategy meeting where they presented the situation and gave a code of conduct.

Actions in case of emergency, explanation of different scenarios and so on. The whole discussion lasted quite a long time because before you could blink it was already evening.

However, the operation was planned for this night.

They set off towards the underground lake.

There they left through the side cave near the lake.

It mysteriously leads down.

After descending about 40 meters, the tunnel opened into what looked like a large hall.

Here the ceiling was filled with various shiny stones, and the walls seemed to be carved with various patterns.

The room was long and tall.In front of them it stretched forward to what appeared to be a statue.

Approaching her, they saw the silhouette of a woman, dressed in a strange but beautiful dress. She had one eye closed and in the other a clear red stone shone with a feeling of evil.

Her face in the sea was undefined.

She wasn't beautiful like a fairy, but wasn't ugly either.

Her hair was long, reaching her knees, and she had a simple crown on her head.

In her hands she held a raised drum and in the other what appeared to be a chain.

The balance seemed very detailed. It was made of pure gold, and it felt clean, sharp, and strong.

On one side was a beating heart. It was really a beating heart...

Blood dripped from that plate and fell slowly, but it turned black in the air and then continued with the chain that started from the bottom of the pool of blood.

Then it went up into the statue's hand and then passed through its back and ended on the other side of the balance, where it turned into something like water...

When the place where the water dripped like a small plate was filled, a drop of water fell but turned into pearls.

Under the statue the pearls gathered and moved happily. Then one by one flew to the heart and replaced it becoming a heart itself.

This cycle repeats itself constantly.
