Why?

The sun descended on a tranquil evening, casting its golden glow over the idyllic landscape. Elric, a curious young boy, stood by the meadows with his faithful companion, Rocks, a loyal dog wagging his tail. The fading light prompted Elric to declare, "Rocks, we should head home. If we're late, Mother won't spare

They embarked on the journey back to their modest home, where the skies transitioned from shades of crimson to soothing purples and oranges. Although the day had been perfect, a tinge of anxiety lingered in Elric's heart. He knew his mother's stern rules about returning home before nightfall.

Upon reaching their cozy abode, Elric burst through the door, exclaiming, "Mother, we're back! Is dinner ready? I'm absolutely starving."

His mother, a caring and gentle soul, raised an eyebrow at his ravenous appetite and asked, "Why are you so famished today, my dear? It's rather unusual. Did you have an eventful day?"

Still panting from their rush, Elric eagerly shared the day's events, "Yes, Mother, I made a new friend today. He hails from the east and introduced us to games we've never played before, like 'ballnd,' where we kick a ball into a goal to win."

Intrigued by her son's excitement, his mother inquired, "A boy from the east, you say? What's his name?"

With a hint of enthusiasm, Elric replied, "His name is Luke, Luke Ishlavan." His mother's expression shifted, revealing a trace of concern.

Observing her reaction, Elric questioned, "Is something bothering you, Mother? Is there something wrong?"

She hesitated for a moment before reassuring him, "No, my dear. I was just lost in thought. I don't believe Luke is related to the DR family; their surname is different."

Elric, unable to quell his curiosity, prodded further, "Who are the DR family, Mother?"

His mother's voice grew serious as she cautioned, "You needn't concern yourself with them for now, dear. But always remember to stay clear of their path."

As the evening sun gave way to night, Elric's thoughts remained fixated on the mysterious DR family. These enigmatic thoughts carried him into a restless sleep, where shadows danced in his dreams, and secrets whispered in the darkness.

The following morning, after a hearty breakfast, Elric met up with his closest friend, Paul. The bond between the two boys was as strong as any blood relation, and they spent their days exploring thecountryside, blissfully oblivious to the complexities of the world.

Today, they ventured towards the nearby riverbank, a place of serenity and natural beauty. Laughter echoed through the air as they indulged in their playful escapades, rejoicing in the innocence of youth.

After hours of games, Luke suddenly appeared, igniting a new wave of excitement. The trio indulged in a spirited game of catch, their joyous shouts echoing in the serene surroundings.

Exhausted but content, they eventually settled by the river's edge to catch their breath. It was at this tranquil moment that Elric's insatiable curiosity got the better of him. He turned to Luke and asked, "Do you know anything about the DR family?"

Paul, perceiving the seriousness in Elric's eyes, also directed his attention to Luke, eagerly awaiting a response. "Why do you inquire, Elric? What's happened?"

Elric hesitated momentarily before disclosing, "My mother warned me to stay away from the DR family, and now I can't help but wonder. Do you know anything about them?"

Luke leaned back, gazing at the flowing river, and began to unravel a tale—a tale shrouded in secrets and darkness.

Paul and Elric listened with rapt attention as Luke's storytelling skill drew them into the past. "I've heard stories about the DR family. They are said to be linked to the 'Diavolos,' a fallen clan with a sinister history."

As the tale unfolded, Luke continued, "In ancient times, during a brutal war, a group of people lost faith in the gods and turned to devil worship, seeking power to rule the world. They struck a pact with the devil."

The sun had now completely set, casting long shadows that mirrored the grim nature of the story. "The devil granted them immense power, but it came at a terrible price," Luke narrated. "It cost them their humanity, their emotions, and their very souls."

Elric shivered, sensing a chill in the air as he absorbed the harrowing history of the Diavolos. "But how were they defeated?" he asked, his voice tinged with curiosity.

Paul, equally eager to uncover the truth, leaned in. "Tell us, Luke, how did they overcome such formidable power?"

Luke took a deep breath before answering. "The Diavolos, armed with their newfound powers, waged war against the kings, committing acts of genocide that shook entire kingdoms. The fear they sowed was so great that the kings put asidetheir differences and formed an alliance."

Elric's eyes widened in amazement. "All the kings joined forces to fight them? That's incredible."

Paul's eyes glistened with curiosity, and he inquired, "But if the kings managed to defeat the Diavolos, why does the DR family still reside in our village?"

Luke's voice grew somber as he continued the tale. "After the Diavolos were defeated, some survivors were found and presented to the king for sentencing. They were to be executed for their crimes."

Elric was puzzled. "So, why are they still here?"

Luke explained, "During the trial, one of the young members of the Diavolos boldly questioned the king. He pointed out the dark history of the king's own family, a history filled with horrors and cruelty. He asked, 'Why should we be punished for the sins of our ancestors when you, King, live without consequence your great grandfather killed the entire village just for fun.

Did you get executed?.No, as I can see you are living happy and healthy life then why should we suffer when we just want to live peacefully.

The king, realizing his hypocrisy, declared that from that day forward, all Diavolos members were no longer wanted criminals, and they could live in all directions except the west."

"From that moment, the remaining Diavolos families migrated to various lands," Paul concluded.

Elric's mind buzzed with newfound knowledge. As days passed, he noticed an enigma – a stark difference in crop yields between their farm and others. Elric wondered aloud, "Dad, why are our crops thriving while others are struggling?"

His father hesitated, "I'm not certain, but something doesn't feel right. But Let's share this good news with your mother."

Elric and his father returned home, eager to announce the bountiful harvest. But a shock awaited them. His mother appeared pale and unwell.

"What's wrong, Mother?" Elric asked, concern lacing his voice.

She weakly assured them, "I'm fine," but then collapsed.

Elric's heart raced, and his father  pleaded, "Noro! Wake up, Noro! Elric, fetch water!, Wake up, Noro!"
