After seeing the effect of insignia, Heizen was very happy. He quickly used the "Leaf Shield" spell in conjunction and promoted it to "Emerald Sentinel."

Now, he didn't need to worry about low defense when fighting. He could even fight close combat in some circumstances.
However, when he tried to use the insignia to promote the "Animal's ally" spell, he got no response. The glow on the seal also dimmed significantly.
He still didn't know what power was needed to charge this insignia. Anyway, he would think of the solution when he went back.
Putting those thoughts aside, he began to scan the surroundings for practice targets.
And thus, in the western periphery of Forbidden Forest, the cacophony and scream of monsters began to sound frequently. Many timid monsters even ran from their lairs.
After a few hours of fighting, Heizen began to rest in a hidden place.
With the blood and tears, he finally barely mastered his spells. However, his mental power was still not strong enough to use them all at a single time.
Furthermore, leveling up had become very hard. There was no way he could level up by killing weak monsters like before. After killing various camps of Goblins, wolf packs, and a few scattered monsters, he was only getting closer.
Suddenly, he heard a robotic voice in his mind.

Looking at the information in his mind, Heizen was alert. This wasn't the first time he got the notices today. But the previous two times, the treasures weren't that excessive. He was thinking of selling them after returning to the academy.
But this time, it seemed serious. Heizen calmed down his mood and began to recover. After going through a lot, he had begun to mature.
He realized that running or hiding wasn't a solution. Moreover, he wanted to become stronger. Though the Good Luck System tried to pit him everywhere, the reward he received was also astronomical.
If he became strong enough, there would be nothing in this world that could harm his life.
After encouraging himself, he picked his staff, drank a mana potion, and walked west. After nearly walking for an hour, he arrived at his destination. He was always extra careful when related to the System.
In front of him was a deep and dark ancient cave. Heizen didn't find any monster within the range of his divine sense.
He slowly passed the narrow cave and walked along the winding path. Jagged rocks and overgrown vines tried their best to hinder his vision but his Divine Sense smoothly averted all the problems.
After traveling through such a path and avoiding a few venomous monsters, he arrived at the central cavern.
The large chamber has a high ceiling, and rough and uneven walls engraved with crude markings. The floor was littered with bones and debris making it hard to place your foot.
The large crude beds made up of animal hides surrounded by bones and the presence of massive giants clearly implied that he had arrived at Cyclopes lair.
Heizen quickly hid himself at the entrance and paid attention to his surroundings. He hadn't forgotten that blow on the forest which almost turned him to pulp.
After looking around, he found that the number of the Cyclopes in the lair was very few. Most of them are low-level and few are above level 10.
He also saw the monster that chased him before. So, he came closer and began to chant the "Elder Wood's Wrath."
"Woosh." Suddenly the tranquility of the tavern was interrupted by the sound of strong vines dancing between the camp.
Heizen controlled the vines to specifically target those high-level monsters first.
"Plat, boom." The Cyclope which has chased him before burst into blood before even having time to react. Seeing this Heizen felt much more comfortable.
The other lower-level Cyclopes also died one after another. However, the two monsters who were at level 13 were only seriously injured while the chief who was at 15th level was unscathed.
So, while they were still confused, Heizen controlled the vines to kill everyone except the chief. It took only a few breaths to massacre the tribe. He was getting used to the cruel nature of this world.
"Roar," a loud roar with grief and endless anger sounded from the center of the Cavern. Seeing his brethren getting cruelly killed, the leader completely went mad.
"Thud, thud." loud footsteps with ferocious growls echoed in the Cavern.
Heizen also started to get serious.
"Emerald Sentinel." He quickly chanted the defense spell and focused his mind on the vine. He had to clear this fight before his MP got exhausted.
A flimsy leaf with a green glow covered his entire body from head to toe. From the outside, he almost looked like an ancient elf.
"Roar." The leader picked his bone club high and slammed at his body at an incredible speed.
"Boom," the vine covered the club and mitigated its speed while the leaf armor in his body saved him from any harm. However, he was still pushed back a few steps.
Without waiting for it to raise his club again, he ordered the vines to warp around the monster's legs while lashing at its body.
However, the level 15th monster wasn't just for show. It broke the binding and attacked him multiple times.
Even his armor was damaged. But it quickly regenerated itself relieving him of worry.
After a few seconds of struggle, the Cyclope leader finally succumbed to death.
Heizen also heard a long-awaited sound from the system.

Heizen was very proud of his achievement. He solo killed a being who was far stronger than him. However, the consumption of mental power was also alarming.
So, he quickly went to the chief lair and began to rummage through stuff. Finally, he saw a mesmerizing crystal that matched the System's prompt.
