CHAPTER 1: The Bright-Eyed Freshness

As the school gates swung open, 16-year old Tunde stepped out of his parent's car, his eyes shinning with excitement. He had always dreamed of attending this prestigious school, and now that he was finally here, he felt like the world was at his feet. His parents beamed with pride as they helped him unpack his luggage, their words of encouragement ringing in his ears.

Tunde had big plans- he wanted to become a renowned scientist, make ground breaking discoveries, and change the world. He was determined to work hard, make new friends, and soak up every opportunity that came his way.

But as he settled into campus life, things started to take a different turn. He met with a different beings from all walks of life, among them is Tosin who happens to be a very notorious cult member, he was the leader actually. He convinced tunde on several encounters he had with him to seek for protection from his gang as the campus may be a den of angry and ruthless lions and lioness.

Tunde declined the so-called protection, he opted for God's protection instead. Tunde started to avoid toxic hands of friendship stretched out to him by Tosin and some others. He withdrew how he used to interact with some certain set of people to which Tosin is among.

Tunde's heart raced with excitement as he stepped onto the university campus. The sprawling green grounds and modern buildings seemed to hum with energy. He couldn't help but feel a mix of nerves and anticipation. His eyes widened as he took in the diverse crowd of students each with their own story to tell.

As he made his way to his dorm, the sound of laughter and chatter filled the air. Tunde felt a sense of belonging, knowing he was about to embark on a journey that would shape his future.

He took a deep breath, his mind buzzing with goals and aspirations. He wanted to excel in his studies, make lifelong friends, and explore his passion for justice. Tunde expected the university to provide him with tools and opportunities to make a real difference in the world.

With a determined smiles, he opened the door to his new chapter in life.

But, unbeknownst to him, he was about to step into a real yet unknown world of darkness, where the lines between good and evil would be tested, and his innocence would be shattered.

And yet, his bittersweet experience would change the world forever making it a better place to live in.
