Tony's feet pounded the pavement as he sprinted down the dark alley, his heart racing with fear. Jack, Ryan, and their gang were hot on his heels, their guns blazing as they chased him.
Tony dodged and weaved, his small frame darting between dumpsters and leaping over obstacles. He could hear the gang's labored breathing, their curses and threats echoing off the walls.
Just when he thought he'd found a clear path, a car screeched to a halt beside him, and Jack leaned out the window, his gun trained on Tony. "You little rat!" he snarled.
Tony veered sharply, avoiding the car by mere inches. He kept running, his lungs burning, his legs aching. But he refused to give up.
Finally, he was surrounded. The gang closed in, their fists and feet flying as they kicked and punched him mercilessly. Tony curled into a ball, his arms wrapped around his head, his body screaming in pain.
Just as all hope seems lost, a disheveled figure stumbled into the fray, reeking of alcohol and muttering curses. "Hey, hey, hey! Leave the kid alone!"
The gang paused, taken aback by the stranger's sudden intervention. Tony gazed up at his rescuer, his eyes pleading for help.
"Please," he begged, his voice barely audible. "They killed my mom and dad. They'll kill me too."
The stranger's expression softened, his eyes filling with a mix of anger and compassion. "Don't worry, kid," he slurred. "I've got your back."
The stranger, despite his drunken state, fought with a ferocity that caught the gang off guard. His fists flew wildly, connecting with precision and power. Jack and Ryan stumbled back, their eyes widening in surprise as the stranger landed blow after blow.
Tony watched in awe, his eyes fixed on the stranger's determined face. He couldn't believe what he was seeing - this rough, disheveled man was taking down his parents' murderers with ease.
The gang was no match for the stranger's skill and strength. They stumbled and fell, their cries of pain and frustration filling the alley. Jack and Ryan, the last ones standing, turned and fled, abandoning their friends and leaving them to face the stranger's wrath.
As the stranger stood panting, his chest heaving with exhaustion, Tony approached him cautiously. "T-thank you," he stuttered, his eyes welling up with tears.
The stranger's expression softened, his eyes filling with a warm light. "Hey, kid, you're safe now. I won't let anyone hurt you."
Tony's eyes locked onto the stranger's, a sense of gratitude and hope flooding his heart. He knew he had found an unlikely hero, one who would protect him from the darkness that had consumed his life.
The stranger's victory was short-lived, as a new wave of gang members arrived, armed and dangerous. The stranger stood tall, his eyes blazing with determination. "Get behind me, Tony," he growled.
Tony hesitated, but the stranger's firm tone sent him scurrying to safety. The stranger charged forward, his fists flying in a whirlwind of motion. Guns fired, but he dodged and weaved, his movements lightning-fast.
The battle raged on, the stranger taking down gang members left and right. Tony watched in awe, his heart pounding in his chest. The stranger was a one-man army, unstoppable and fierce.
As the last gang member fell, the stranger turned to Tony and handed him a gun. "Finish him," he growled, nodding towards the unconscious gang member.
Tony hesitated, his hand trembling. He couldn't bring himself to pull the trigger. The gang member, sensing his chance, begged for mercy. "Please, spare my life!"
The stranger's face darkened. "Tony, shoot him!"
Tony's finger tightened around the trigger, and he fired. The gang member's eyes widened, and he slumped to the ground, defeated.
The stranger grabbed Tony's arm, and they fled the scene, just as Jack arrived with reinforcements. Jack's eyes widened in shock at the carnage before him.
"Go clear the murder scene," he barked at his gang. "Leave no trace."
The gang obediently retreated, heading towards Alex's house. They doused the building in gasoline, and a fiery inferno engulfed the structure, erasing all evidence of their brutal crimes.
Tony's heart was full of agony and couldn't withstand the situation.
Just as they escape, Tony turns to the stranger, his heart was full of emotions but he knew that he owed him thanks.
"Thanks so much, may I know your name?"
The man laughed, "don't worry you're save now. I'm Marco" he said.
Tony nodded,"My name is Tony…. Please Marco, may I make a request? Please I'll have to go home, I must save my parents"
Tony's eyes welled up with tears as he begged Marco, "Please, let me go! I have to save my parents!"
Marco's expression was grim, his voice firm. "It's too late, Tony. But I won't stop you."
Tony didn't hesitate, sprinting towards his home with a desperate hope. But as he turned the corner, his heart sank. His house was engulfed in flames, the fire raging out of control.
Tony's world crumbled around him. He stumbled forward, his eyes fixed on the inferno. He wanted to die, to join his parents in their fate. He took a step forward, the heat intense, the flames licking at his skin.
Just as he was about to surrender to the pain, Marco's voice echoed in his mind. "Do you want to die, Tony, or survive to avenge your parents?"
Tony's scream was primal, his voice hoarse from the smoke. "Help! Please, help me!"
Marco appeared out of nowhere, his arms wrapping around Tony's waist. He pulled him back from the flames, dragging him to safety.
Tony's eyes locked onto Marco's, his vision blurry. "I swear...I'll avenge them," he croaked, his voice barely audible.
Marco's face was set in a determined mask. "I'll help you, Tony. We'll make them pay."
Tony's eyes never left Marco's face, his gaze burning with determination. "I swear, I'll avenge them," he repeated, his voice stronger now.
Marco nodded, his eyes gleaming with a fierce light. "I believe you, Tony. And I'll be by your side every step of the way."
Together, they watched as the fire consumed Tony's home, his parents' bodies trapped inside. The flames seemed to fuel Tony's resolve, his heart hardening into a cold, fierce determination.
Without a word, Marco turned and walked away from the burning building, Tony following closely behind. They moved through the shadows, avoiding the authorities and Jack's gang, until they reached the docks.
A boat waited for them, its engine roaring to life as they boarded. Tony looked back at the city, his eyes burning with a fierce anger. He knew he would return one day, to exact his revenge.
But for now, he followed Marco into exile, leaving behind the only home he had ever known. The boat disappeared into the night, heading for a new country, a new life, and a new purpose.
Tony's journey had just begun, fueled by his rage and his desire for vengeance. He was no longer the innocent boy he once was, but a young man driven by a fierce determination to make those responsible for his parents'death pay.
And Marco, the mysterious stranger, would be by his side every step of the way.
