Chapter 98: Arrival in the New World

The wind carried the scent of fresh saltwater as the ship cut through the final stretch of sea, approaching the shores of the New World. The crew and family members stood at the bow, their eyes fixed on the horizon where Sam's Town, the first settlement of the New World, came into view.

"Dad, look!" Joan shouted, his voice filled with excitement as he leaned over the railing. His eyes were wide, taking in the lush green landscape that stretched as far as he could see. "Look at how majestic the land is! It's so beautiful."

Alex stood beside him, his heart swelling as he gazed out over the new land. The rolling hills, the dense forests, and the vast open plains reminded him of the American countryside he had once known. His breath caught in his throat, and to his surprise, a tear escaped his eye, sliding down his cheek.

"Mom," Alex said softly, turning to his mother, Samantha. "It looks just like America, back on Earth. Doesn't it?"
