That's what they shout to me from the stands. My fans, apparently. The golden youth from the upper levels.

Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Jack. I'm eighteen years old. And the freak – that's me.



The generational ship has been flying towards the nearest star to the Sun, Proxima Centauri, for over 130 years. Humanity had never ventured this far before. Over the long years of travel aboard the spacecraft, a strict hierarchy had been established, seemingly impervious to any disturbance.
