Many of the council members had already arrived outside of the academy. The arena had been set up with seals to strengthen it, and they were ready for the event. The council members, including those from the civilian council, were present. The civilian council members glared at Naruto, but he simply looked at them and then looked away as if they were mere insects. This made them even more furious.
Only a few of the Shinobi council members noticed Naruto's behavior and narrowed their eyes in concern. Minato, on the other hand, decided to ignore it as he looked towards his other children, Menma and Naruko. Fugaku Uchiha, with an arrogant smirk, said, "It seems it's time for you to realize the Uchiha superiority through my son," as he glanced at Minato.
Minato simply shook his head and replied, "Alright then." He then began to give a small speech about the village, its strength, and unity, though he could tell not everyone was fully invested in his words.
"Let's start this small tournament of ours," Minato concluded, nodding towards the organizers.
Some of the civilian council members murmured among themselves, clearly displeased with the presence of Naruto. The Shinobi council members, however, remained focused on the upcoming matches.
The arena buzzed with anticipation as the participants took their places. Naruto stood calmly, ignoring the hostile glares and whispers from some of the audience. Menma and Naruko, on the other hand, seemed eager to prove themselves.
The first match was about to begin, and the tension in the air was palpable. Minato watched closely, hoping that this tournament would bring some clarity and understanding among the village members while also keeping an eye on Naruto's behavior and abilities.
The matches proceeded with various participants showcasing their skills. As Naruto's turn approached, the crowd's attention sharpened, curious to see what the "demon brat" would do.
Minato's other children participated in their matches but were eliminated after some time as the tournament progressed. Now it was time for the match between Naruto Uzumaki and Kiba Inuzuka. Kiba entered the arena with an arrogant smirk. He had been heavily influenced by his mother, a member of the Shinobi council who had been demanding Naruto's head ever since her husband died in the Nine-Tails attack. She blamed everything on Naruto, and Kiba completely believed her, seeing Naruto as a demon who should be treated as such. Consequently, Kiba had become one of Naruto's biggest bullies.
The anticipation grew as Naruto and Kiba faced each other, the crowd watching closely to see how the match would unfold. Kiba had always tried to bully Naruto and attack him, but Naruto never took his threats seriously and always managed to scare Kiba off. Kiba's instincts screamed at him that he was facing an alpha, but he decided to try and show the superiority of his clan. He looked at Naruto with an arrogant smirk and said, "Alright, demon, are you ready to realize your true place? Far beneath an alpha like myself?"
Naruto looked at Kiba with a bored expression. "You know, I've always known that dogs bark a lot," he replied, his tone dripping with sarcasm.
Kiba growled in frustration, his anger evident as he prepared to attack. The tension in the arena grew as the crowd watched, eager to see the outcome of this match. Naruto remained calm, his confidence unshaken by Kiba's threats and bravado. The battle was about to begin, and everyone was on the edge of their seats.
Kiba sneered, "Alright, enough. Let's begin this match so I can show him the power of a true alpha." Both Kiba and his ally harbored deep hatred for Naruto, blaming him for the loss of their parents in the Kyuubi attack.
Naruto looked at Kiba, who smirked and said, "Alright, now I shall show you the power of a true alpha." He rushed towards Naruto. Kiba's mother smirked as she glanced at Kushina. "Well, Kushina, are you ready to bring your son to the hospital, if any doctor were to touch him to begin with?" Kushina decided to ignore her. She did not look very concerned to begin with.
Kiba arrived in front of Naruto and delivered a punch, but to his surprise, his fist hit nothing but air. Many of the council members were surprised, and the civilian council members were eager to see the demon brat beaten to a pulp. But to their shock, the demon brat was missing, and Kiba was about to spin when he suddenly wondered where Naruto was. Before he could understand anything, his face was grabbed brutally. His face was slammed into the ground so hard that a loud crunch filled the whole area, followed by dead silence. Tsume Inuzuka could not believe her eyes—her son was caught, and she didn't even see the demon move. Naruto had slammed Kiba's face into the ground, breaking his nose. Naruto then lifted Kiba's head and slammed it into the ground once again, shattering it further.
Cracks were appearing in the ground as Naruto treated Kiba like he was just trash. He simply threw him into a nearby dustbin as if he was nothing but trash in his eyes. Akamaru barked at Naruto and tried to lunge at him, but Naruto simply kicked the puppy and threw him into one of the academy walls. There was dead silence; Tsume Inuzuka could not believe her eyes. She had trained Kiba, and she knew that he was strong, but that demon—how dare he? She actually wanted to lunge at him, but a look from Minato stopped her right there. She growled at him and rushed towards her child, who was unconscious.
Many other council members started to look at each other as Minato was also surprised. He did not know that Naruto was that powerful. He thought that, after all, the reports clearly said that Naruto was a guy who knew nothing but to cause trouble for him and his village.
