After all, it had been some time since he had seen her, so yeah, that would be a good thing. They finally arrived home, feeling pretty angry. They had to fight what they considered a weak opponent. Even though Haku was strong, both Menma and Naruko were pretty powerful and had to use the power of the Nine-Tails. They hated using it because they were supposed to be trained by four elite shinobi, and their mother took their training seriously, wanting to prove she was still as powerful as ever. Using the power of the Nine-Tails against an opponent other than their brother was a blow to their pride. They always thought they were the strongest, but this situation wasn't in their favor.
They looked toward their mother, who was working hard. Naruko glanced at her shattered sword, tears starting to well up in her eyes. Kushina quickly noticed. "Menma, Naruko, you're back, huh?" She saw the look on Naruko's face. "Are you all right?"
Naruko nodded and explained how Naruto had shattered her sword and how she couldn't attack with it anymore. Kushina gritted her teeth. As the days passed, she grew increasingly annoyed by the situation. Naruto was not accepting his role as a side member, and Menma and Naruko were not realizing how important they were. She couldn't understand why Naruto didn't see this, especially after he had been given everything he ever wanted in life. He should have accepted his role. These were the thoughts running through her mind, just like Jiraiya-sensei had told her.
Kushina looked at Naruko. "Don't worry, Naruko-chan. I will get you a new sword as soon as possible. The Daimyo's daughter is coming today, so we need to discuss the marriage proposal. We hope to change it so that Menma can be the groom. But we doubt she will change her mind. After all, the Daimyo's daughter is just a fangirl who sees Naruto as a powerful person and wants to marry him. We need to handle this situation as soon as possible, just like Jiraiya-sensei advised."
Meanwhile, Menma and Naruko threw themselves into training as soon as they arrived. They wanted to learn as much as possible. Menma nodded at Naruko, who nodded back. Menma started to prepare a Rasengan while Naruko added fire chakra to it. They were working on a new technique, the Fire Volcano Rasengan, just like Jiraiya-sensei had taught them. They needed to be together to perform this technique. This powerful move, they believed, would be enough to take care of their brother forever. Both of them smirked, confident that they would soon reclaim their titles as the rightful heirs.
On the other hand, Minato was about to dismiss his meeting.
Anbu landed beside him. "The council has been summoned and demands your attention, and Naruto, sign here," he said. Naruto already knew what this situation was all about. The Haruno girl who died—her mother was on the civilian council and would demand Naruto's head. He knew that wouldn't be allowed, but they had to see what they actually wanted.
Minato looked towards Naruto. "No matter what happens there, you need to keep your calm and remember who those people are." Naruto gave him a look but didn't say anything.
Minato grabbed Naruto and headed inside the council room, where all the clan heads were finally present. They looked pretty interested in the whole thing, knowing what it was about. Minato and Naruto arrived, along with the ANBU, clan heads, and civilian council members. The elders looked annoyed as they glanced at Minato, who took his seat.
"What is this meeting about?" Minato asked.
Haruno's mother, with tears in her bloodshot eyes, glared at Naruto. Minato sighed, knowing this was coming. Another civilian council member stood up. "Yes, in this mission, the demon has proven himself to be dangerous to the children of Konoha. We demand that Naruto Uzumaki be executed for the murder of Sakura Haruno because of his demonic actions."
Minato sighed inwardly as Mebuki Haruno continued to glare at Naruto. Minato spoke up, "And what is your proof?"
Mebuki glared at Minato. "According to Kakashi's report, Naruto did nothing when my daughter slipped into the ocean. He didn't try to save her. I believe he pushed her because he wanted to get rid of her, just like he always wanted."
Naruto smirked inwardly, thinking she couldn't argue with that. Mebuki pointed at Naruto. "The report of Kakashi, you say," Minato said, annoyed at Kakashi's antics and the extra paperwork it caused. He needed to have a chat with Kakashi soon.
Minato sighed as he brought up the report and began to read it, along with all the clan heads. Minato looked towards Naruto. "Naruto, you have the accusation against you. So, do tell me, why did you not try to save your teammate?"
Naruto looked at him seriously and shrugged. "It was not possible."
Mebuki stood up. "Lies, demon! You didn't want to save her. That is the only reason. Admit that you were the one who threw her off the bridge, just like you wanted."
Naruto inwardly thought, well, that was the truth, but he didn't do it. He simply shrugged he had to wait for his grand plan.

Naruto inwardly thought, well, that was the truth, but he didn't do it. He simply shrugged, waiting for his grand plan. Minato grabbed one of the reports brought by the ANBU and started to read it. "Very cheeky, Kakashi," he thought inwardly.
"Well, Hokage-sama, as you already know, the mission was in a country known as the Land of Waves, surrounded by the ocean with heavy waves. Even ships have trouble navigating there. The bridge where Sakura slipped had heavy waves. Shinobi do not usually slip, as they are trained from an early age to channel chakra into their muscles and feet, enabling them to walk on various surfaces, including water and icy areas. For Sakura to slip, she would have to be exceptionally careless or inexperienced."
The Shinobi Council nodded in agreement. "Really, for slipping like that, you need to have pathetic skills. Shinobi are trained to avoid such mishaps."
Minato continued, "If Naruto had wanted to, he could have done something about the situation. But the fact is, he didn't. If Sakura was savable, Kakashi would have acted, as would have the other teammates like Sasuke."
Mebuki screamed again, demanding Naruto admit to his alleged crime, but the council members were growing tired of the baseless accusations. Minato sighed, "There is no actual proof. Even Kakashi's report does not specify anything. As Naruto said, if she was savable, Kakashi or the other teammates would have saved her. Are you accusing all of them for not saving your daughter?"
Mebuki wanted to screech that it was all Naruto's fault, but she couldn't do anything at this point. Minato sighed, "This meeting is adjourned. We have to prepare for the arrival of the Daimyo, and I do not have time for this. So, it is adjourned." He then grabbed Naruto, and with a flash, they vanished.
The civilian and Shinobi Council members began to leave. Meanwhile, Naruto had a smile on his face. After a long time, he felt like he had achieved something. Finally, there would be no more screeching in his ear; the torture was finally gone, and he was really happy.
