Minato's eyes widened as he quickly drew a kunai and turned toward Jiraiya, who had snapped out of his stupor. Jiraiya spoke up, "So, you've finally decided to show your true colors, huh? We always knew you were a demon—a monster—and for that, you'll pay!"
Minato added, "Naruto, you've gone too far. You'll answer for your crimes—for killing Menma and destroying Naruko's chakra pathways!"
Naruto smirked at their words. "Do you honestly think I'm unaware of your plans to use me as your weapon? To mass-produce the Moon Children, and now that you know about my Rinnegan, you'd try to take it for yourselves, huh? I already know all about your schemes, Minato, how you intend to overthrow the Fire Daimyo and use his wealth to 'better' Konoha, as you like to say."
Naruto chuckled while Minato's anger intensified. The shinobi around them quickly took defensive positions. But Naruto only smirked wider as he looked back at Minato. "They say you're the fastest man alive. Well, let's see if you're faster than me. I'm about to go on a killing spree—let's see if you can catch up and save everyone."
With that, Naruto vanished in a blur of motion. Minato immediately threw his kunai and also vanished, trying to catch up. The shinobi quickly followed in pursuit. Naruto reappeared in a district of Konoha and casually planted one foot on the ground. In the blink of an eye, he shot off in another direction, leaving only a blur behind. Minato continued his chase, but his eyes widened in horror as the spot where Naruto had stepped began to tremble violently. Purple energy erupted from the ground, shooting into the sky and expanding rapidly. Entire sections of Konoha were consumed, along with the civilians within them.
Minato tried to save them, but it was already too late. He had to flash away to avoid being caught in the destruction. Several shinobi who had family in those areas desperately attempted to rescue them, but both the shinobi and their loved ones were consumed by the devastating energy.
Rage filled Minato's eyes as Naruto gave him a mocking wave and vanished again. Minato pushed himself to the limit, speeding across Konoha in an attempt to catch up. After five minutes of relentless pursuit, Minato was panting heavily. Despite moving at incredible speed, he was too late—Naruto had already destroyed a quarter of Konoha, leaving it in ruins so severe that Minato doubted it could ever be rebuilt.
Naruto stood calmly in front of Minato in a location far from the stadium, chuckling to himself. By now, they were surrounded by hundreds—no, thousands—of shinobi. Minato flashed in front of Naruto, still panting but with fury burning in his eyes. Naruto had targeted key areas of Konoha, locations where many people were gathered, and, most critically, where Konoha's most important projects were housed.
Konoha was already in ruins and burdened with a hefty fine, but that didn't matter to Naruto. He had promised to kill at least half of Konoha's population, but so far, he had only managed to wipe out a quarter. Even so, the damage was immense. Minato knew he had to stop Naruto before he could take out the remaining quarter.
Minato glared at Naruto. "It's over, Naruto. Give up now, and I might go easy on you."
Naruto chuckled darkly. "You really believe that, Father?"
At that moment, Naruto noticed that the Raikage and Onoki had arrived. It seemed that Orochimaru had decided to cut his losses and flee, but Naruto would hunt him down later. For now, his attention was on the Raikage, who was glaring at him with intense hatred.
Naruto smirked. "Well, Raikage, I didn't expect you to be here. Given that you tried to attack Konoha, I have no doubt Minato and Jiraiya will be keeping a close eye on you once they're done dealing with me." He chuckled at the thought.
The Raikage snarled, "You've killed so many of my shinobi. Do you really think I'll let you walk away after that?"
Naruto glanced at Onoki, who was also seething with anger, and laughed. Minato looked between the two Kages, calculating. Perhaps their help could be useful—he could get rid of two problems at once. Maybe, just maybe, Naruto would end up killing either the Raikage or Onoki in the process, which would benefit him.
Minato smirked inwardly before speaking. "I don't trust either of you, but if you want to avenge your people, you'll have to work with us."
Onoki scoffed while the Raikage glared at Minato but nodded reluctantly. Just then, Jiraiya appeared, flanked by two toads on his shoulders, both in Sage Mode. Minato's eyes reflected the symbols of the toads as Tsunade arrived with a sealing jutsu ready. Kakashi showed up as well, his Mangekyo Sharingan spinning menacingly. The surrounding shinobi were in position, hand signs completed and techniques ready.
Naruto laughed. "Well, so many dangerous shinobi, just for little old me? In that case, let's even the numbers." He paused, his smile widening. "But before that, I need to fulfill my promise. After that, I'll leave Konoha for a while—but don't worry, I'll be back to kill all of you, of course. For now, though, I'll take care of half the village."
Minato scowled. "You're not going anywhere, Naruto!"
